The hotel looks a bit dated but still okay. The staff are very nice and warm. The breakfast buffet was also very good with a wide variety. Room was clean and spacious.

The location of the hotel is very good, and the room you booked has a sea view as soon as you open the door, and the beach is just a few steps away. The only bad thing is that a lot of ants and bugs run into the room, and there is a very unpleasant smell behind the small refrigerator!

I have been coming here for several years and always found the same warm welcome. Not to speak of the super convenient location not far from the airport for overnight stays. The recent refurbishment is a welcome upgrade too. My only regret is that the snack bar has given in to the regrettable requirement for. Pizza and burgers instead of Greek food. We just checked in yesterday evening and were warmly greeted at the lobby. After a long walk, we had a good night rest. Woke up feeling energized. So the beds have passed the test. They have a good basic assortment of basic food for a basic breakfast buffet. What a great place to stay! Price-quality ratio is good! You get what you pay for. Thalia Hotel is our favourite hotel on Crete. Owners & staff ensure guests have the most wonderful holiday. Location could not be better. Few minutes walk to beach, shops & restaurants. A very beautiful place for a family vacation we took. The front desk team were very welcoming, assisting us with all our needs all along our stay. We stayed at Star Beach in Crete and had a wonderful experience overall. The hotel is large, very clean, and the staff are kind and helpful. I traveled with two children, aged 9.5 and 7.5. The experience at the hotel was perfect – excellent service, a wide variety of food, lots of attractions for the kids, and plenty of activities. In short, there's no doubt that we’ll be coming back again.

Very nice hotel, we had room in Athina building, pool party wont hear there. Pool areas are big and clean.. if u go 10:00am you got good place. Lot of kids in hotel, we have one in holiday.

Lovely hotel. Serviced daily, staff polite and helpful, apart from 1 receptionist who seemed to enjoy being obnoxious. Good choice of food and waiting staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Having great holiday here. Food fabulous. Great bar waitress and restaurant staff. Lovely clean rooms. Covid actions taken. Opportunity for test before return flight daily in hotel. Also in main Street outside. 20 to 25 euros. Shame people leaving towels on empty sunbeds around pool and grounds. Advised not, but no-one checks.

Amazing environment by the sea really nice food with a huge variety to choose for every meal, kids friendly with many pool areas, the rooms are recently renovated and of high aesthetic!I would definitely recommend it!
