Where to stay in Heraklio Town

I payed extra for bungalow with pool front. No regret there. Nice clean room with large balcony. Pools are large and with optimal temperature at least for me. Beach is really nice with sand and pebbles. There are large but smooth rocks in the sea itself, but only for 2 meters or so, than it is sand again. We stayed here last week. Staffs are very nice, multilingual, the rooms are very clean despite the fact that there were many clients around. We also love and enjoyed our stay because there are greens everywhere and they updated our room at the beachfront. They were very organised with the covid protocols at the restaurant especially when everybody was there.

My best holidays of my life ! The food was amazing; the pools were ok even if one with salty water which might not be ok for everyone; the beach is one step from the hotel, there are beach sport available with sealing ; the proposed trips are so cool with montain 4x4, and a boat trip to Santorini Island; the kid's club is very creative and multi languages. We stayed at Vanisko Hotel for 3 nights. Everything about our experience was wonderful. The buffet breakfast was magnificent - fruit, vegetables, cheese, pastries, coffee, juice all the best quality. Came from England for a week in Hotel Vanisko with family, a luxury feel as soon as you step into the hotel. At the ibis Styles hotel I booked a room for one night. The check-in was friendly and done quickly. I thought, that the room was clean and very spacious, but the bed wasn’t too comfortable for me, nevertheless I could sleep quite well. And unfortunately it was not too soundproof as you especially could hear the motorcycles from outside on the streets. Despite this I would stay here again.

The staff was very nice. The room and the bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was also great and with a nice view. The bathroom looks a bit older. Probably they renovated only the rooms. The air-conditioning was working a bit strange, maybe had some technical issue.

We only stayed for one night, it is simple, but nice. Near the city center, the fortress, the bus station, the harbour. The view from the restaurant is amazing.

We were dropped off by the taxi at the wrong hotel and when we arrived at the hotel Eleni Palace we had a great reception from staff. I have been coming here for several years and always found the same warm welcome. Not to speak of the super convenient location not far from the airport for overnight stays. The recent refurbishment is a welcome upgrade too. My only regret is that the snack bar has given in to the regrettable requirement for. Pizza and burgers instead of Greek food. We've stayed in Dessole Dolpin Bay resort for our family vacation and LOVED IT! Food is absolutely delicious, so many options even picky eaters will find something. Olive Green Hotel provided a good experience overall. The location is excellent, and the room was spacious and clean.
