Where to stay in Heraklio Town

The hotel looks a bit dated but still okay. The staff are very nice and warm. The breakfast buffet was also very good with a wide variety. Room was clean and spacious.

The Olive Green Hotel is a clean, friendly and helpful place to stay, in a great location in the middle of the best parts of Heraklion. The food at the restaurant is decently priced and tasted great, the staff were super helpful and can organise taxi's to the airport or port. We were seven people in our group. We had an amazing stay over here very recently. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Though rooms are a bit small for our liking, they’re very nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable. All the amenities one needs are provided.

The location is in front of the port, so you can walk there after getting off at the port. The airport will call you a taxi for 15 euros, and there is no coffee pot in the room.

The hotel is in a great location in the city center, convenient for shopping and visiting museums. The sink is in the bedroom, and the bathroom contains both a toilet and shower. After showering, the entire bathroom floor was flooded. I suggest the hotel separate the shower and toilet areas with a full door.
