It was amazing!! First of all, the view from the rooms. Unfortunately I didn’t have a balcony in my room but I had friends who had one. For the service, it’s a 5 cause when I was leaving the room and called service the room was all new when I got there. It was extremely noisy. Insulation is very poor and the room was directly on the round about. Traffic was dense until 1.30am.

Olive Green Hotel provided a good experience overall. The location is excellent, and the room was spacious and clean. I booked the family suite and had it all to myself and it was the perfect size. The hotel is right next to many stores and restaurants and not too far from the harbor if you’re looking to take a ferry. Amazing boutique hotel. Great service and very modern rooms. You can walk to Heraklion city center in about 10 minutes. Also, there is a free parking lot. The streets to get there are pretty narrow and the area around the hotel looks a bit shady at night (pretty dark alleys, abandoned houses). But in daylight you see that it is just a normal residential area.

Stayed for a couple nights and this place is great! Located within walking distance of the city center, with a lovely room with great amenities. The gentleman at the reception was extremely helpful on many occasions, even giving up his parking spot on a busy night. One thing to note though, Google maps will try to take you through impassible streets, so make sure you keep an eye out for the signs...
