Best Hotels in Heraklio Town

Spa treatments are good, similar prices to UK €50-100 euros. The staff were very attentive and very quick to help us with a problem when the airport transfer we booked with them didn't come on time

The great service we experienced started as soon as we arrived with help getting luggage out and valet parking of hire car. This was very welcoming after having driven from Chania Airport to a strange place

When we checked in they had upgraded us which was a very pleasant surprise. We had already booked a harbour view room but room we got was bigger than expected still having that view. The only downside was the airport

This is old hotel, which have been renovated. Good service and location, personal vary friendly. Little bit overpriced for Greece.

Big thank yo u to the lady who cooked our omelette every morning. In fact a big thank you to all the staff from the maids who make the beds to the waiters and front desk workers

Olive Green Hotel provided a good experience overall. The location is excellent, and the room was spacious and clean. However, the check-in process took longer than expected, and the breakfast was below average

What really made our stay special was the birthday package I booked through their website. Everything was perfectly arranged — we received a lovely cake, fresh flowers, wine, and festive balloons in the room

The bus stop is in front of the hotel, easy to get to the city centre (bus 1 and 20) and back (bus 6). Short walk to the public beach. The best advantage were early breakfast hours (7-10)

The location isn't the best, as there isn't much to do close to the hotel, but if you have a car that is no issue

The pool was also nice, not many people there and suprisingly I couldn't hear the traffic from the street that much

That was not that bad, although it would be easier for our baby to have a proper day time sleep, the problem was, that the receptionist wasn’t very keen to explain why we couldn’t have the room until our departure time

If we would have known that there are no baby seats available we would have taken ours from home. A longer stay in the room on the departure day was not possible although we are civitel members

The behaviour is something that lasts in your mind. The food was good but we expected more Greek food and missed it. If you want a very good coffee you have to pay for it extra

Most of the service personal was very nice. Although we booked a taxi service with a baby seat via reception and didn’t get a seat so that we had to drive with our little one on our lap

Continues to the fun pool which is open from eight in the morning to eight in the evening, very convenient hours. Continues by saying that the hotel is sparkling clean and beautifully and elegantly designed

There is an innovative coffee machine with delicious capsules, there is a refrigerator, there are bathrobes and slippers, there is a hair comb, there is a magnifying mirror for make-up

The hotel has good rooms with a fantastic breakfast and decent location. We did have one major issue with a school group that ran up and down the halls all night, banging on the doors, screaming and slamming doors

We suggested for a nice visit on this city because you could approach the market on foot and do walks all day and night!

Only two servings of coffee capsules the first day (really now…), no facilities to dry bathing suites. The good side, they serve one of the best breakfasts around Greece and the waiters are extremely polite

We have been at Marirena Hotel just some days ago and I would like to underline that everything was perfect. I was surprised because lots of people sent descriptions that are not real

The room is relatively simple but clean, including disposable slippers. The breakfast on the 6th floor is also relatively simple, but the view is excellent. You can see the Venetian Castle on the seaside of Heraklion

The Marin Hotel is located near the ruins of the ancient city, close to the city center, and has excellent accommodation. It is very convenient to eat and shop nearby

I booked a half-board arrangement (so breakfast and dinner) and while breakfast wasn't the most exciting (mostly due to my own preferences, they had different items available, I am just a bit picky when it comes to breakfast), dinner was served from the menu of the excellent attached restaurant (restaurant Maxim)

This Restaurant has been update since my last visit and food is very good and reasonably priced. Recommend the Calamari

just had 2 weeks at the hotel Castro-we arrived around midnight but was still offered a meal- with me being in a wheelchair I requested a ground floor pool view and that's what we got- the air con didn't work but he sorted it out there and then-clean towels and sheets daily- food was lovely- cant understand anyone complaining-if I didn't feel like a hot meal they would do me something else all we had...

The beach is closeby (walking distance), there's a bus stop for the local bus service right in front of the hotel (with the name of the hotel) and there's plenty of small shops nearby to get those last items you need

Staff at the reception can help you with your questions and if you still want to go on any excursions, they will be glad to help you out via their connection with Tourline. Overall, just a great experience

The island, the place, and the accommodation are wonderful. The staff is incredibly friendly, always smiling and very helpful no matter what your question is

Great little boutique hotel just a 5min walk away from Heraklion centre. Rooms are spacious, parking spots are available, the service is great. Staff really makes sure you are comfortable and have everything you need.

New hotel nestled in a fascinating area of the center just walking distance from busier shopping area. The room is well designed and has it all. Parking is very precious in this area

Visited in March 2024 New, modern and absolutely gorgeous! Close to a fantastic restaurant! Staff was quick and very helpful and friendly. Room was sparkly clean with everything you could want at a great price

One thing to note though, Google maps will try to take you through impassible streets, so make sure you keep an eye out for the signs they have posted in the area!

The gentleman at the reception was extremely helpful on many occasions, even giving up his parking spot on a busy night

I will return to this hotel just for the good service that she offered. Two negative observations - 1. while the room is quite spacious the shower area is very tiny - It’s a design issue

The lady in the kitchen needs training on food safety and sanitation. I observed her sneezing in the palms of her hands and then going back to slicing tomatoes without changing her gloves

Also, it is not professional to be using cell phone for personal use in the kitchen open area with guests present

I stayed two nights in a suite and this was my first time staying at an Ibis hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The breakfast buffet has lots of choices and was good

As our 1st stop on our Crete honeymoon, Ibis Styles was the the perfect spot! Super convenient to the city center, parking, museum, shops, restaurants, and the gorgeous Heraklion port

We got upgraded to an Executive Room and all, from reception welcoming to check-out was absolutely perfect, the room was big and clean with all comforts and a quiet balcony

Breakfast is generous and includes local sweets, and there is also a supermarket on the lower floor to buy food for the day or snacks before your travel

We had a beautiful room with a small kitchen and a big balcony. A small hob was supplied for cooking. The receptionists were always very friendly and took care of all our requests. The beach is just a minute away.

There was a small malfunction with the balcony door,not that great soundproofing,no privacy-soundproofing between room and bathroom and no sitting in the balcony but no big deal, totally value for money, i would definitely book again

My room was clean and had everything I needed including a fridge (room 116 ground floor which meant leaving patio doors open was not an option as access could be gained externally by anyone passing by, and of course privacy was thus heavily compromised) Breakfast which was included was quite comprehensive and consisted of cooked breakfast, cold meats/cheeses, fruits, cereals and hot and cold drinks
