The biggest hit is the avocado restaurant. The fact, that the pool and beach bar close so early is a big let down, but the main bar is opened until 1am. The personal is very friendly and helpful

My best holidays of my life ! The food was amazing; the pools were ok even if one with salty water which might not be ok for everyone; the beach is one step from the hotel, there are beach sport available with sealing ; the proposed trips are so cool with montain 4x4, and a boat trip to Santorini Island; the kid's club is very creative and multi languages

I payed extra for bungalow with pool front. Nice clean room with large balcony. Pools are large and with optimal temperature at least for me. Beach is really nice with sand and pebbles

This hotel has lot of sport facilities and big swimming pool. Also the rooms are very clean

I really enjoyed my stay here. Don't let people complaining about the power station to the right and a river flowing to the sea and the left discourage you. Both are far and you don't really notice

Stayed an extra day in Heraklion after Knossos palace so moved hotel, glad we did! Definately one of my better stays, breakfast was full service & endless, staff was brilliant- all of them! Room was excellent, plenty of room to swing a cat, king bed with a selection of 5 PILLOW TYPES!! Mini bar was stocked & also meals/ drinks to room & pool areas

I've never stayed at this hotel, but after visiting the website and watching the promotional video, I realized just how brilliant they are—they can confidently afford to advertise like this! In my mind, their approach to guests is just as bold and ingenious! Bravo!!! 5 stars!

Room: Top Floor Deluxe Room, Harbour Pros - Nicely spaced out room - Balcony was large but not exactly harbour facing. It was quite far to your left but still a nice view

The hotel itself is a somewhat older building, but appears to have had some modernisation work done, although a bit more is required to be able to justify a 5-star rating

Hotel has own beach with enough seats, the same with the swimming pool. Rooms are clean and well equiped. The shower is not very comfortable, mostly with the sheet, small or no window, so it is very hot there

Pool and beach were lovely again very clean, pool was a great size. Never struggled getting a sunbed no matter what time of day. Overall great stay and would recommend

Only two shows on a week in the evening and only a small pool for kids with a tiny play area, would look for more activities in the day and for us a little splash park would be great

It's a great place for your vacation. It has beautiful green territory, tasty food, nice views, big enough private beach. Also, staying in a bungalow is a nice option

Only little negative if the restaurant is busy which it became towards end of holiday it became very warm inside, Aircon wasn't great inside the restaurant so would suggest eating outside if possible

Few shops over the road and short bus ride into the city either local bus or hop on hop off. Restaurant - really good variety, great for the kids too always something to choose from

We were seven people in our group. We had an amazing stay over here very recently. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Though rooms are a bit small for our liking, they’re very nicely decorated

Breakfast was reasonable, but they started removing it all 2 minutes after we sat down, 30 mins before it was due to close! Not happy Jan!! Rooms are OK But we had 2 single beds pushed together?? Balcony view of roof tops, great pizza place across road, small pizza is 48cm diameter & base/toppings tasty

Continues to the fun pool which is open from eight in the morning to eight in the evening, very convenient hours. Continues by saying that the hotel is sparkling clean and beautifully and elegantly designed

The only issue I had was the smell of the towels, whatever vendor they use to wash the linens and towels, they need to change it. As the towels had a musty smell that was really awful

The staff changed my towels daily but no matter how many times they changed them, the smell was there. Other than that my stay was great

The location was very convenient and within walking distance of city square, the fortress, and all the stores to go shopping They have breakfast on site that was good. The roof top pool was amazing

They had music playing, and there is a bar-great vibes. The chair with the umbrellas fill up quickly, I recommend going early. They have a bar/restaurant service at the pool

It was amazing!! First of all, the view from the rooms. Unfortunately I didn’t have a balcony in my room but I had friends who had one

For the service, it’s a 5 cause when I was leaving the room and called service the room was all new when I got there

There is sometimes a wait for the elevator, but not sure long. The room was clean, and the air was cold, and the location was convenient-the bus stop was very close

Lastly, the location it’s a 5+ because near the hotel it’s everything you need, kiosk,cinema,bar, stores and more

People of unusual kindness and charm will help to explore the island for 30 percent cheaper than from your travel Bureau tour guide in your language and with comfort! Bureau Status! Would recommend to anyone and have a nice stay!

We had the all inclusive plan and the food was diverse and very tasty! The rooms are cleaned everyday and the coffee tastes heavenly on the terrace with the garden view, from where you can also see the sea

Infrastructure is also good, slide, sand beach, pool. Although it is medium quality it has good price value ratio

Sea is in 2-3 minutes of walking. Sandy beach, the sunbeds are paid, but there is enough place to spread a towel. We're totally satisfied with our stay here

I booked the family suite and had it all to myself and it was the perfect size. The hotel is right next to many stores and restaurants and not too far from the harbor if you’re looking to take a ferry

Olive Green Hotel provided a good experience overall. The location is excellent, and the room was spacious and clean. However, the check-in process took longer than expected, and the breakfast was below average

Pros - bathroom was small, but shower was large and excellent water pressure - front staff was personable and helpful with dining suggestions - easy walk to main attractions - air conditioner worked well Cons - bed creaked when getting on/off, but didn't affect our sleep - elevator is a bit old fashioned, where you open the door to enter

It's located very close to the main attractions. The noise from the nearby airport isn't noticeable. My only complaint is that the shower is kind of open so water gets everywhere. A taxi from the airport costs about 18€

An asset to the hotel was the friendly personnel, especially Maria at the reception. She showed professionally friendly attitude, very good smile and was ready to help with all questions. Certainly an asset to the team

For parking, Lato has a deal with the Heraklion port so you can park at the port parking lot for free which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You show your keycard to get access/entry to the parking lot

I stayed at the annex and had no issues. I visited in the off season so prices were super cheap. The annex has no front desk so checking in is across the street at the main hotel lobby and so is breakfast

We were in Heraklion for two days and loved staying at Lato Boutique Hotel. The location is outstanding--we could walk all around Heraklion. We had a beautiful see view over the sea wall from our junior suite

Great affordable place to act as a base while in Herlakion. Rooms are not the fanciest in the world, but the air conditioning worked, the beds were clean, and the breakfast was included. Can't complain.

We stayed at the Atron Hotel crete half board and I think its one of the best hotel we have stayed in, the hotel is immaculate not one thing out of place, our room was very large with a small kitchen with was great for putting our drinks in the fridge, there was a meal in the fridge for us on our first day, ( never had that before) we had a very large balcony with a table and two chairs

The hotel put on a Greek night, there was singing, dancing and traditional Greek food, also an International night with music and food Elena from the dining room was brilliant she was helping everyone making sure they were having a good time, she was so kind too

The hotel offers GREAT breakfast (ten out of ten) with a variety of sweets made by the locals and the people working there were extremely kind and helpful. It is a value for money hotel which is certainly recommended

We stayed at the hotel on March. The location of the hotel is excellent, just a minute walking distance from the old town and the city center of Heraklion. Our room was perfectly clean and came with a balcony

This place offers an excellent value for the price! The location is 2 mins walk from the Venetian waterfront, fort, walkway and excellent restaurants as well as 10 mins from the airport for convenience

We used the hotel as a base for our night flight. Nice place, friendly staff and we sat around the pool most of the afternoon. The rooms were comfortable and clean

The recent refurbishment is a welcome upgrade too. My only regret is that the snack bar has given in to the regrettable requirement for. Pizza and burgers instead of Greek food. But I still enjoyed a delicious salad

Very very helpful and kind service but the way to walk is quite unpleasant (sidewalks won’t do it well on stroller or heavy luggage). The bedrooms are ok, medium size with a balcony. The breakfast is good !

Like others who have posted we stayed here mainly because it’s near the airport and we wanted somewhere to stay overnight after arriving late and preparing to travel overnight, and it’s perfect for that

I have been coming here for several years and always found the same warm welcome. Not to speak of the super convenient location not far from the airport for overnight stays

some of the rooms have also complimentary breakfast or with an extra charge you can have it as well. it contains cold cuts as ham,turkey, feta cheese and gouda,orange juice,coffee ar tea and other beverages

The room prices are almost valued for money(maby it can be cheaper some days in the week ) and the restaurant is clean and spacious for the size of the hotel. Until now i stayed in 2 rooms and im very satisfied

Tucked nearby main shopping and not too far from bus station. This is easily walkable from the port. Staff was extra helpful in guiding us to local restaurant options, bus transit, and general information

Omelets and bacon with sausages are also an option and some pies than like cheese or spinach pie,yogurt with fruits ,honey a variety of breads and bread sticks and some other siders also

The hotel is near the beach 150m but has a pool for thows windy days, with clean water and a bar. Prices at the bar are low, lower then near restaurants

The location is very good: it is near to restaurants and shops, to the beach and to the bus. The facilities: the kitchenette, the small playground for children, the pool which was clean and nice

Breakfasts are modest but delicious, the rooms have air conditioners,some apartments have a kitchen, and a balcony, though you have to pay extra 5 euros per day to use an aircon and 1 euro if you want to use a safe camera

I do not recommend room 203 because the position is right under the concrete arch and it is very hot at night but otherwise rooms are ok, spacious, well placed with air conditioning and balcony to every one

Coming away with two grown up sons we were placed in a family room and then the manager toldusweneededa bigger room and up graded us to a huge suite with an open balcony which has amazing views

You can also rent a car here, they have one of the best prices in Ammoudara, we rented a very economic Ford Fiesta diesel. The price for the hotel is very good during the season

We had a day room before our late flight departure. The hotel definitely needs reservations. The rooms are basic, but clean and spacious. We really liked the pool, probably the best pool for doing laps in the area

Breakfast is still a meal to write home about and Katerina still makes the best breakfast buffet! The water was calm and beautifully clear and the beach is clean and sandy! Easy entry and a great swim

The pool was very clean and perfect to cool down in, as well as having plenty of room to swim in despite its proximity to the sea. There were always sunbeds available around the pool with no need to reserve with towels

From dancing, karaoke, aqua gym (I'm knackered😂) and stretching stretching stretching! Both Rita and Andreas worked so hard to keep the kids entertained and it was lovely to see the kids having such a nice time 🥰 I feel the saying 'if you have a job that you love, you will never work a day in your life' describes the staff perfectly

Food was pretty good for the most part and when you fancy a change, there are several good taverns about. Drinks were alright, what you expect from an all inclusive. Entertainment looked ok if you’re into that

Each time we were told that it would be taken care of and nothing happened. At some point I started bringing towels to reception by myself. This is unacceptable! I hope that the problem will be dealt with in the future

Rooms were beautiful and well appointed and quiet. Breakfast was incredible! Staff very pleasant and helpful with local recommendations. We would most definitely return and stay here again when we return

Amazing front desk service - they helped us with everything from needing extra towels to getting a rental car to getting us transport to the port. Note that they offer shampoo and shower gel, but no conditioner

There is no pool and they are not affiliated with any hotel that has one. The breakfast on the top floor is a tough sell. They keep the temp at 80 degrees F

We stayed here in September 2024 for three nights with two other couples. Great location in the center within walking distance to everything, including the archeological museum shopping, the harbor

The shower is in the middle of the bedroom which is a bit odd. We were on the 4th floor which had a great view of the sea/port. Lots of bakeries and other restaurants nearby!

Rooms were pretty but cramped and small. A small shower stood in the corner of the bedroom. Thank goodness the toilet was in a separate room but you practically had to stand on the toilet to close and open the door

We stayed at Vanisko Hotel for 3 nights. Everything about our experience was wonderful. The buffet breakfast was magnificent - fruit, vegetables, cheese, pastries, coffee, juice all the best quality

Very clean, spotless in the lounge as well as the room which had clean sheets regularly, breakfast was delicious and staff were incredibly friendly. There was a very large swimming pool area as well

The pool is spacious and good for all the family, as it reaches good depths in some areas, but also has an area especially designed for kids

The breakfast is amazing, with great variety and lots of locally produced delicacies, as well as pancakes and crepes (depending on the day), which are usually not offered in most hotels

Everyone including the bar tenders, chefs, receptionists, and manger were wonderful to us. Definitely the place to stay when in Heraklion
