Hotels with pool in Heraklio Town

Stayed an extra day in Heraklion after Knossos palace so moved hotel, glad we did! Definately one of my better stays, breakfast was full service & endless, staff was brilliant- all of them! Room was excellent, plenty of room to swing a cat, king bed with a selection of 5 PILLOW TYPES!! Mini bar was stocked & also meals/ drinks to room & pool areas

GREETINGS FROM OPEN GREECE! I've never stayed at this hotel, but after visiting the website and watching the promotional video, I realized just how brilliant they are—they can confidently afford to advertise like this! In my mind, their approach to guests is just as bold and ingenious! Bravo!!! 5 stars!

Big thank yo u to the lady who cooked our omelette every morning. In fact a big thank you to all the staff from the maids who make the beds to the waiters and front desk workers

- A special shout out to the friendly older doorman and the gentleman behind the bar. You're a credit! - Most Staff were *generally welcoming and helpful - Live Music in the evenings was quite nice

Room: Top Floor Deluxe Room, Harbour Pros - Nicely spaced out room - Balcony was large but not exactly harbour facing. It was quite far to your left but still a nice view

The hotel itself is a somewhat older building, but appears to have had some modernisation work done, although a bit more is required to be able to justify a 5-star rating

We were seven people in our group. We had an amazing stay over here very recently. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Though rooms are a bit small for our liking, they’re very nicely decorated

Breakfast was reasonable, but they started removing it all 2 minutes after we sat down, 30 mins before it was due to close! Not happy Jan!! Rooms are OK But we had 2 single beds pushed together?? Balcony view of roof tops, great pizza place across road, small pizza is 48cm diameter & base/toppings tasty

Continues to the fun pool which is open from eight in the morning to eight in the evening, very convenient hours. Continues by saying that the hotel is sparkling clean and beautifully and elegantly designed

The only issue I had was the smell of the towels, whatever vendor they use to wash the linens and towels, they need to change it. As the towels had a musty smell that was really awful

The staff changed my towels daily but no matter how many times they changed them, the smell was there. Other than that my stay was great

If we would have known that there are no baby seats available we would have taken ours from home. A longer stay in the room on the departure day was not possible although we are civitel members

That was not that bad, although it would be easier for our baby to have a proper day time sleep, the problem was, that the receptionist wasn’t very keen to explain why we couldn’t have the room until our departure time

Most of the service personal was very nice. Although we booked a taxi service with a baby seat via reception and didn’t get a seat so that we had to drive with our little one on our lap

Then go and pour into a carafe (1l). In the vacant bottle pour at the restaurant drinking water. But in General, everything is wonderful and friendly

I would say all in all I do recommend the hotel and I liked our stay. The bungalow was very new and beautiful. Although it could have been cleaner when we arrived and during our stay

Lovely villas, quiet and well maintained. Delicious food served in the dining room beside reception. Good selection at breakfasts taffy very friendly and helpful. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach and around pool area.

This was my first experience of an all inclusive beach resort (I'm more a city break kind of person) and I think the bar has been set high for future ventures - I'm sold! This resort was amazing on every level

Me and my family with a 4-year-old boy really cannot criticize anything. Towel changes and room service daily!!! One of the best hotels where I have personally been in Greece and we've visited lots of islands

We have been at Marirena Hotel just some days ago and I would like to underline that everything was perfect. I was surprised because lots of people sent descriptions that are not real

Very friendly staff, perfect position near the beach, nice dinner with rice, pasta, meat and fish, lots of salads and vegetables. I really cannot understand why lots of people said never again

Decent, clean rooms, free Wi-Fi but too modest and monotonous breakfasts and not always adequate dinners with a stingy owner who doesn't like his guests

The location was very convenient and within walking distance of city square, the fortress, and all the stores to go shopping They have breakfast on site that was good. The roof top pool was amazing

They had music playing, and there is a bar-great vibes. The chair with the umbrellas fill up quickly, I recommend going early. They have a bar/restaurant service at the pool

It was amazing!! First of all, the view from the rooms. Unfortunately I didn’t have a balcony in my room but I had friends who had one

For the service, it’s a 5 cause when I was leaving the room and called service the room was all new when I got there

There is sometimes a wait for the elevator, but not sure long. The room was clean, and the air was cold, and the location was convenient-the bus stop was very close

Lastly, the location it’s a 5+ because near the hotel it’s everything you need, kiosk,cinema,bar, stores and more

Rooms were beautiful and well appointed and quiet. Breakfast was incredible! Staff very pleasant and helpful with local recommendations. We would most definitely return and stay here again when we return

Amazing front desk service - they helped us with everything from needing extra towels to getting a rental car to getting us transport to the port. Note that they offer shampoo and shower gel, but no conditioner

There is no pool and they are not affiliated with any hotel that has one. The breakfast on the top floor is a tough sell. They keep the temp at 80 degrees F

We stayed here in September 2024 for three nights with two other couples. Great location in the center within walking distance to everything, including the archeological museum shopping, the harbor

The shower is in the middle of the bedroom which is a bit odd. We were on the 4th floor which had a great view of the sea/port. Lots of bakeries and other restaurants nearby!

Rooms were pretty but cramped and small. A small shower stood in the corner of the bedroom. Thank goodness the toilet was in a separate room but you practically had to stand on the toilet to close and open the door

The breakfast is amazing, with great variety and lots of locally produced delicacies, as well as pancakes and crepes (depending on the day), which are usually not offered in most hotels

The pool is spacious and good for all the family, as it reaches good depths in some areas, but also has an area especially designed for kids

The location isn't the best, as there isn't much to do close to the hotel, but if you have a car that is no issue

Very clean, spotless in the lounge as well as the room which had clean sheets regularly, breakfast was delicious and staff were incredibly friendly. There was a very large swimming pool area as well

The pool was also nice, not many people there and suprisingly I couldn't hear the traffic from the street that much

If your flight gets cancelled and you're reading this review, the hotel isn't all that bad. The staff were nice and so was the food. Be sure to take a trip to the supermarket opposite as they had some amazing cheap food

The staff is friendly and professional, the food great, the view fantastic, room cleaning and change of towels every day. I recommend staying at this hotel

The beach is a little far away but you can get there with the bus ( 20 min) and the bus stops are conveniently situated next to the hotel

It was extremely noisy. Insulation is very poor and the room was directly on the round about. Traffic was dense until 1.30am.

Room is neat, cleanliness might be reinforced. Staff is mostly welcoming and friendly. Great breakfast with a good view of the city. Value for money.

We arrived late at night from the airport to stay for one night and we saw the comments on Google before :) The hotel is old and needs maintenance (some of the comments here are completely correct ) !! in my opinion it depends a lot on what you are looking for

if it is a night's stay and moving on it is perfectly fine but for a vacation I would not recommend!! and of course everything depending on the price (the price per night at the hotel is very reasonable compared to the other hotels in the area)

A truly lovely hotel, new, modern, clean in a great city! Wonderful staff who couldn't do enough to help you and make your stay more comfortable! ( same goes for their sister hotel the LATO BOUTIQUE)

I booked the family suite and had it all to myself and it was the perfect size. The hotel is right next to many stores and restaurants and not too far from the harbor if you’re looking to take a ferry

Olive Green Hotel provided a good experience overall. The location is excellent, and the room was spacious and clean. However, the check-in process took longer than expected, and the breakfast was below average

3 minutes to the beach: ammos beach bar sells TWO sunbeds and umbrella for 3€ daily - incredible. There are also pavillons for 10€, and you get fruits, juice and water. Some nice restaurants and shops around

Pool bar was open every day (serving drinks, Greek snacks, icecream, coffee; also pasta), and VERY cheap: ouzo 1,50€ ? Pool open from 1000-2000, no night swimming, quite common times

Free sunbeds and umbrellas, pool is large and up to 2,90m deep. Included breakfast typically Greek: olives, feta, watermelon, yoghurt and honey,. Furthermore two types of cold cuts, cheese, cereals, scrambled eggs

A very nice Hotel, clean and fresh, with excellent service, and the beautiful garden with huge and sheltered swimming pool.

The hotel itself what you'd expect for the price. Rooms are clean and tidy if a bit dated. Breakfast is good as is the pool. Staff are excellent, very welcoming and helpful fixing any issues immediately.

I really want to say thank you to the reception staff in particular to the guy who helped us plan the excursions for the whole island (the excursions they have not excessive prices and in the tours you have enough time to wander independently in the various places) ask for the catalog at the reception

Nice hotel on a central location in Heraklion with airport bus stop just outside the hotel. Rooms were as described but also very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and gave me some very useful tips

My wife and I traveled around Crete for two weeks and this was our favorite hotel of the entire trip. It’s cozy, historic and luxurious. Their breakfast was also possibly the best hotel breakfast we’ve had anywhere.

The rooftop pool was another fantastic feature, offering a serene escape with breathtaking views over the city and the sea

Room was large and clean, with a beautiful view of the port. The hotel is well-maintained and has an interesting history. Staff was very helpful in learning about local attractions and how to get there.

The Megaron was absolutely wonderful. From the spaces where you can sit and relax (the "living room" or the sundeck) to our room, everything was clean and beautiful. The staff was always welcoming and helpful

At the pool of the hotel you can relax and enjoy the great holiday atmosphere. You may also find wonderful excursions. (Haris, a wonderful lady that can help you with these)

I booked a half-board arrangement (so breakfast and dinner) and while breakfast wasn't the most exciting (mostly due to my own preferences, they had different items available, I am just a bit picky when it comes to breakfast), dinner was served from the menu of the excellent attached restaurant (restaurant Maxim)

While I did enjoy the half-board arrangement, ordering a la carte is a recommendation! They were even kind enough to let me keep my salad from the half-pension when I did! Back to the hotel: Rooms are cleaned daily and the hotel itself looks clean and tidy

I personally did not see or use the swimming pool (oops) as I was too busy travelling about and just went to the beach to swim

The beach is closeby (walking distance), there's a bus stop for the local bus service right in front of the hotel (with the name of the hotel) and there's plenty of small shops nearby to get those last items you need

The lady at the reception is a true angel, and the guys are extremely attentive. The kittens are very cute, and I can honestly only recommend this place. The girl who got badly sunburned in July☀️

We stayed at the Atron Hotel crete half board and I think its one of the best hotel we have stayed in, the hotel is immaculate not one thing out of place, our room was very large with a small kitchen with was great for putting our drinks in the fridge, there was a meal in the fridge for us on our first day, ( never had that before) we had a very large balcony with a table and two chairs

The hotel put on a Greek night, there was singing, dancing and traditional Greek food, also an International night with music and food Elena from the dining room was brilliant she was helping everyone making sure they were having a good time, she was so kind too

The hotel offers GREAT breakfast (ten out of ten) with a variety of sweets made by the locals and the people working there were extremely kind and helpful. It is a value for money hotel which is certainly recommended

We stayed at the hotel on March. The location of the hotel is excellent, just a minute walking distance from the old town and the city center of Heraklion. Our room was perfectly clean and came with a balcony

Great affordable place to act as a base while in Herlakion. Rooms are not the fanciest in the world, but the air conditioning worked, the beds were clean, and the breakfast was included. Can't complain.

This place offers an excellent value for the price! The location is 2 mins walk from the Venetian waterfront, fort, walkway and excellent restaurants as well as 10 mins from the airport for convenience

Great place, I went here for just one night in a single room. Very friendly staff, concerned about me getting safe at the airport at night. The room was simple, but very clean. Loved the old furniture!

Lovely family run hotel only 20 minute walk from the city centre. Good, clean, spacious air conditioned and with storage galore this little hotel is a great place to stay

With warning: it is under the heraklion flight path, but then everywhere in heraklion centre is. I lived under heathrow, so it actually helped me sleep haha

The hotel is located relatively close to the airport and very close to the main city road. Rooms are spacious and there is air conditioning

Can be difficult to get a deep night rest due to hearing the aircraft very close. The beds are regular in terms of comfort

It can be a little exhausting to come here late, only to find out that you have to carry your luggage up one floor before you get to the elevator/lift (that happened last time I was here)

You can hear the planes arriving at the nearby airport quite well, but they don't bother me, plane watching can be fun 😀 Food is great as well! The a la carte restaurant that can be visited all inclusive once per week stay is a highlight, but the buffet has great choices as well!

Food is always fresh but may lack variety, but there is always something local next to the continental buffet. Rooms are freshly renovated and adequate. The pure sand beach is literally just falling down the stairs away

Visited the Sentido Unique Blue resort with great pleasure. First and foremost the staff is extremely polite, helpful and above all good humoured

What makes it stand from other all inclusive resorts is that it still feels cozy and there is no need to rush for a beach or terrace bed

The hotel is beachfront and the sandy beach is quiet. You can get free sunbeds and enjoy the beach without loud music. Nice pool, simple room but you get all essentials you need

A must, if you're a fun of the '70s, w antique furniture, and grate collection of old dolls. Very nice pool for when it's windy at the beach

This is not a luxurary hotel for parties but I find it very pleasent for family vacations. The sunset from balcony is a plus!

I really liked the people in the hotel, they are authentic and smiling with you every second while speaking, I felt at home, the pool is small but clean, my only concern is the location but you have public transportation and you can order freenow(app) as well, I really enjoyed the trip here in Crete

In relation price vesus quality we recommended this hotel. It is simple hotel but is quiet, have a pool and is near the beach (350m). Our room have a fridge and it is posible to have hot water to make a tea or coffee

Value for money, the room was clean and spacious enough. Very basic amenities, small balcony, no elevator, has an outdoor pool, has a parking. Short driving distance from the city center.

Very nice place with friendly and kind staff. Location a bit far from the center but close to Ammoudara beach and the highway. Parking right next to the hotel

Rooms in very good condition, I would have preferred more furniture in the room and the shower was also not working the best

You get correct value for the amount you pay, and they are not treating you less politely just because it is a 2 star place
