The biggest hit is the avocado restaurant. The fact, that the pool and beach bar close so early is a big let down, but the main bar is opened until 1am. The personal is very friendly and helpful

My best holidays of my life ! The food was amazing; the pools were ok even if one with salty water which might not be ok for everyone; the beach is one step from the hotel, there are beach sport available with sealing ; the proposed trips are so cool with montain 4x4, and a boat trip to Santorini Island; the kid's club is very creative and multi languages

I payed extra for bungalow with pool front. Nice clean room with large balcony. Pools are large and with optimal temperature at least for me. Beach is really nice with sand and pebbles

I really enjoyed my stay here. Don't let people complaining about the power station to the right and a river flowing to the sea and the left discourage you. Both are far and you don't really notice

This hotel has lot of sport facilities and big swimming pool. Also the rooms are very clean

Continues to the fun pool which is open from eight in the morning to eight in the evening, very convenient hours. Continues by saying that the hotel is sparkling clean and beautifully and elegantly designed

The only issue I had was the smell of the towels, whatever vendor they use to wash the linens and towels, they need to change it. As the towels had a musty smell that was really awful

The staff changed my towels daily but no matter how many times they changed them, the smell was there. Other than that my stay was great

There is an innovative coffee machine with delicious capsules, there is a refrigerator, there are bathrobes and slippers, there is a hair comb, there is a magnifying mirror for make-up

This was my first time in Heraklion. I stayed in this hotel for 11 days. My stay was very pleasant, the staff was extremely cordial, attentive and nice. Everyone was extremely helpful

The room we were then put in was nice. There is a weird musty smell as you walk in, the shower is a wet room but doesn’t actually drain properly. Lunch is just spaghetti, sauce and some meat

We came to this hotel for 4 nights due to our easy jet flight being cancelled. Our first room was extremely basic and not the nicest but did the job for an emergency room

Very clean, spotless in the lounge as well as the room which had clean sheets regularly, breakfast was delicious and staff were incredibly friendly. There was a very large swimming pool area as well

Me and my family with a 4-year-old boy really cannot criticize anything. Towel changes and room service daily!!! One of the best hotels where I have personally been in Greece and we've visited lots of islands

Parking in the area is a bit of a nightmare but luckily the hotel has an agreement with a nearby multi-storey parking. The rate is very competitive and they take care of parking the car for you, stress free

Tucked nearby main shopping and not too far from bus station. This is easily walkable from the port. Staff was extra helpful in guiding us to local restaurant options, bus transit, and general information

Place is located centrally with all amenities nearby. Personnel were extremely polite and helpful. Rooms were very clean. I strongly recommend this hotel for your stay to Heraklio.

Despite the appearance of the surrounding area, the hotel is great and the rooms were recently renovated. They look clean, modern and the beds are very comfortable

The hotel is near the beach 150m but has a pool for thows windy days, with clean water and a bar. Prices at the bar are low, lower then near restaurants

The location is very good: it is near to restaurants and shops, to the beach and to the bus. The facilities: the kitchenette, the small playground for children, the pool which was clean and nice

I do not recommend room 203 because the position is right under the concrete arch and it is very hot at night but otherwise rooms are ok, spacious, well placed with air conditioning and balcony to every one

Breakfast is ok maybe more diversity will do best, had fruits from own garden, vegetables, butter, gems, orange juice coffee and tea, baked cookies and much more

Cold draft beer, snacks, fresh squeezed orange juice, oven baked pizza, and special ice cream glazed by Adonis, the owner

Nice hotel near airport. Hotel and rooms are clean. Personal is very kindly. Hotel has TV (Netflix), swimming pool, tasty breakfast. Parking car around hotel is possible. We haven't problem with parking any day.

We used the hotel as a base for our night flight. Nice place, friendly staff and we sat around the pool most of the afternoon. The rooms were comfortable and clean

The recent refurbishment is a welcome upgrade too. My only regret is that the snack bar has given in to the regrettable requirement for. Pizza and burgers instead of Greek food. But I still enjoyed a delicious salad

Very very helpful and kind service but the way to walk is quite unpleasant (sidewalks won’t do it well on stroller or heavy luggage). The bedrooms are ok, medium size with a balcony. The breakfast is good !

Like others who have posted we stayed here mainly because it’s near the airport and we wanted somewhere to stay overnight after arriving late and preparing to travel overnight, and it’s perfect for that

We found this hotel by referral from another hotel that was overbooked, how lucky we were! This hotel is conveniently located in the city, close to restaurants, shopping and especial to the Archeological Museum, which is only a very short walk away

There is no pool and they are not affiliated with any hotel that has one. The breakfast on the top floor is a tough sell. They keep the temp at 80 degrees F

It was late and her shift was ending soon, but she kept comforting us while working out the solutions. We were very impressed by her and the hotel, we will defiantly stay here again next time we are in town

Overall everything we were looking for with breathtaking views of the Port and the beautiful colours of the sunset. Everyone in the hotel made us feel at home and nothing was too much for them

And the service was excellent, especially the receptionist Anastasia, She is the best! Every time you walk in the door, she greets you cheerfully with that big smile on her beautiful face

We came across some difficulties in printing out the boat tickets the night before we leave, and she worked so hard and tried everything she could to help us

The hotel is comfortably located, a kilometer from main sightseeing places, also not far from Knossos, 10 minute ride by car, and like 15 minutes ride to the airport. Very friendly and heplful staff

The 'gym' is a bout 6 pieces of resistance equipment and the swimming pool is very small, outdoor and unheated - so pretty much unusable until the height of the season

This is old hotel, which have been renovated. Good service and location, personal vary friendly. Little bit overpriced for Greece.

I've never stayed at this hotel, but after visiting the website and watching the promotional video, I realized just how brilliant they are—they can confidently afford to advertise like this! In my mind, their approach to guests is just as bold and ingenious! Bravo!!! 5 stars!

Ok but feels "cheap" for a 5* The parking it's a problem. The personnel are great. So does the breakfast.

Our room on the 4th floor was very nice, well equipped with a balcony overlooking the Port. A particularly nice part of the Hotel is the very big roof top terrace, pool and lounge area

Our family room was ok, and the view from the pool is good, even if the terrace is very windy and the water is cold. But do not go for the half-board option. The food on offer was very poor

The rooftop pool was another fantastic feature, offering a serene escape with breathtaking views over the city and the sea

My wife and I traveled around Crete for two weeks and this was our favorite hotel of the entire trip. It’s cozy, historic and luxurious. Their breakfast was also possibly the best hotel breakfast we’ve had anywhere.

The Megaron was absolutely wonderful. From the spaces where you can sit and relax (the "living room" or the sundeck) to our room, everything was clean and beautiful. The staff was always welcoming and helpful

I booked the family suite and had it all to myself and it was the perfect size. The hotel is right next to many stores and restaurants and not too far from the harbor if you’re looking to take a ferry

Hotel has own beach with enough seats, the same with the swimming pool. Rooms are clean and well equiped. The shower is not very comfortable, mostly with the sheet, small or no window, so it is very hot there

Only little negative if the restaurant is busy which it became towards end of holiday it became very warm inside, Aircon wasn't great inside the restaurant so would suggest eating outside if possible

Few shops over the road and short bus ride into the city either local bus or hop on hop off. Restaurant - really good variety, great for the kids too always something to choose from

Arrived late at night and they provided a bag with food for all of us which was great after a day travelling. The rooms were very good size, clean and great facilities

Stayed at Creta Beach for a week at the beginning of August (Family of 4, two adults and two under 5). Short 20-30 minute transfer from the airport

The whole resort is closed off however with guarded entrance and parking, that's a plus point. The dinner and breakfast were sadly terrible (in comparison to the other cretan hotels we stayed in at least)

24/7 reception, a view at the sea from the restaurant where you can eat three times per day. You don’t even have to sit in the sun because they have a very nice roof here

the rooms are tidy and they are cleaned every day. Service is awesome...both at the reception and in the restaurant/bar! Highly Recommended!

Great staff, the room was exactly like described, a bit noisy from the streets but the windows blocked most of the sound, breakfast was very nice and the wifi was ok but not great

Sea is in 2-3 minutes of walking. Sandy beach, the sunbeds are paid, but there is enough place to spread a towel. We're totally satisfied with our stay here

Pros: helpful staff, wide variety of dishes, good location. Open bar, pool activities and an extraordinary party at night. The closest beach is wonderful: cheap and cozy sunbeds along with great drinks and food

Near the pool is a pool bar, it offers snacks and drinks throughout the day, we thoroughly enjoyed the crepes with chocolate sauce (there is other options) we had at least one everyday, during the evening and into the night time, they make kebabs, we also had at least one every night, they was so good!! I think it’s probably one of the foods that we’ll miss since nothing in the UK seems to compare...

The pool bar, offering a wide selection of fantastic drinks, added to the overall enjoyable experience. In summary, my seven-day stay was nothing short of amazing. I look forward to returning soon

The hotel's relaxing areas, refreshing poolside environment, and vibrant pool parties created a perfect balance of relaxation and entertainment

We always had to leave the air conditioning on the lowest setting at night, otherwise we couldn't sleep. What you need to know; the hotel has no elevators! This must be clear for people with walking difficulties

The hotel complex is small, manageable and well maintained. As a result, the hotel was not overcrowded. About the room: The room was well equipped and clean. However, the room was very small

There are comparatively limited storage options. This surprised us somewhat for a 4-star hotel (but every country has its own standards). The air conditioning in the room was very loud

What I found a bit annoying; the room safes cost extra and are not digital. You have to carry the key with you. I haven't been to a hotel in years where a safe costs extra and isn't digital

The only thing I would say is the entertainment started late, and people were sat around for hours waiting for it to start. Once it did start it was good fun

We spent 10 days at the hotel with the family (two adults and one 8 year old child). All in all, it was a really nice vacation. Nevertheless, there is still room for improvement

Very close to the center (10’ walking), quiet area, absolutely cleaned rooms, no luxuries but you will not missing a thing

Despite the area the hotel is in, is not very nice, they have been able to decorate and make a natural and gardened environment. Breakfast is amazingly cheap for the high quality
