Amazing boutique hotel. Great service and very modern rooms. You can walk to Heraklion city center in about 10 minutes. Also, there is a free parking lot. The streets to get there are pretty narrow and the area around the hotel looks a bit shady at night (pretty dark alleys, abandoned houses). But in daylight you see that it is just a normal residential area.

Great little boutique hotel just a 5min walk away from Heraklion centre. Rooms are spacious, parking spots are available, the service is great. Staff really makes sure you are comfortable and have everything you need.

Stayed for a couple nights and this place is great! Located within walking distance of the city center, with a lovely room with great amenities. The gentleman at the reception was extremely helpful on many occasions, even giving up his parking spot on a busy night.
One thing to note though, Google maps will try to take you through impassible streets, so make sure you keep an eye out for the signs they have posted in the area!

New hotel nestled in a fascinating area of the center just walking distance from busier shopping area. The room is well designed and has it all. Parking is very precious in this area. The staff at reception is extremely welcoming, professional and friendly. Would totally go back next time in Heraklion.

Context for rating to balance the 5 star reviews. This is not a 4-star hotel. It’s self service studios which are nicely appointed and only partially manned reception.
Only stayed overnight so I could catch an early flight the next day.
Checked in at 7pm, no one there. Clipboards of guests check-ins (feels like there may be privacy concerns for those filled forms sitting there)
I had trouble getting into my room initially but there was no one there to help. And I couldn’t get through to the telephone listed due to my overseas phone. (Would be helpful if there was a concierge phone that we could use to contact them).
Pros:

Location is on very very narrow streets so cars have a hard time getting through if at all. The taxi I booked couldn’t get to me and I had to walk out to the Main Street to find them.

New, modern and absolutely gorgeous! Close to a fantastic restaurant! Staff was quick and very helpful and friendly. Room was sparkly clean with everything you could want at a great price. Stayed here 2 times while we were on Crete! Bravo!

We stayed 2 times, a week apart, and both times were wonderful. The first time was in a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the street; the 2nd time, we were given a larger suite on the main floor. The hotel is on a quiet residential lane but a 2 minute walk to the heart of old town. There are great restaurants and bakeries nearby. The hotel is modern, clean, at a great price (same each time even with the larger suite!)and the staff are welcoming and friendly.

- soft mattress, it was ok but I was hoping for a better one.
- room size was a bit too small, it can be fine for few days.
- sink in the room, too close to the window and its curtains.
- towel bar was too low, so the towel almost touched the floor.
- no chair in the room to sit comfortably.

The Kipos Suites are located very close to the "city's life". However, the neighbourhood is quiet, the streets nearby are rather narrow, with a lot of cats ;) The staff was very nice. The room was super-clean and stylish. The only imperfection was an unpleasant smell coming from the kitchenette.

Very modern and cozy hotel in the middle of Heraklions City Centre. We stayed there two times during our stay in Crete and liked it very much. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are very spacious and well equipped with a kitchenette. Thank you again for the upgrade for our second stay the room was beautiful.
