Mark Hotel

The owners are giving their hearts to this business. They have the cutest dog also, who is very polite and silent.
I feel like we have read so many bad comments which were undeserved for this place. You get correct value for the amount you pay, and they are not treating you less politely just because it is a 2 star place.

I really liked the people in the hotel, they are authentic and smiling with you every second while speaking, I felt at home, the pool is small but clean, my only concern is the location but you have public transportation and you can order freenow(app) as well, I really enjoyed the trip here in Crete

Very nice place with friendly and kind staff. Location a bit far from the center but close to Ammoudara beach and the highway. Parking right next to the hotel. Hotel has also its own pool. Rooms in very good condition, I would have preferred more furniture in the room and the shower was also not working the best. Other than that, everything was perfect and I recommend it, specially for the price of the accommodation.

Value for money, the room was clean and spacious enough. Very basic amenities, small balcony, no elevator, has an outdoor pool, has a parking. Short driving distance from the city center.

The room was a little small but had a balcony to add to the space. The cupboard missed shelves, which would have been nice to place your clothes on. Two mornings out of seven, there was no hot water because the owner forgot to turn on the heating when there was no sun.

The owners and the cleaning lady were very nice and helpful and the hotel is situated in a quiet area near the beach and only 40 minutes walk, along the sea, from the city.

Value for money! The location is very convenient, near airport, the city centre and the beach. There is a bus stop near the hotel, taking you to the centre free of charge. The rooms are nice, the staff friendly and helpful plus there is a swimming pool. Highly recommended both for work and pleasure!

Mark Hotel is my stable most favorite hotel since 15 years 🥰, for my family as well. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind with all kind of requests whenever needed: picking me up from airport/port/busstation in Iraklio center, always willing to give advice and translations from Greek for any wishes I have, even arranging appointment for hairdresser 🤗! The rooms have all the basic necessities, some in progress of even greater improvement/renovations, most rooms are already 4 star 🌟 standard, in my view! Very near access to an amazing beach ⛱: Ammoudara, 10 minutes walk for me (old lady 😅), tavernas on beach with delicious Greek food! Near to center, 5 min to a big supermarket, restaurants, all near. I recommend this hotel to all my friends😊!
