My 1st time in this hotel. The location and the service are perfect . very very nice team. The variety of restaurants and food is excellent, and the quality is very, very good. Their rooms do need some shape up upgrade, but they’re still good. there is a show every night with a different band and kind of music. They have an excellent option of shower room if you already made your check out but leave the hotel later. Indeed, very much recommend recommended

My partner and I visited this hotel last summer and we were really happy to finally have an all inclusive vacation, considering that we are only 20, and it was at a good price. We were happy that we had all the food and accommodation at one place, and we never ate anywhere else except for the hotel. One night my partner started throwing up uncontrollably every 30 minutes and having diarrhea after dinner (I did not eat dinner that night). I went to the reception the next day to ask if this was normal, and to ask for help because I was sure it was food poisoning. The lady just told me that she has heard this from other guests, and assured me that its probably just a virus going around. The same night, I got an extremely high fever and also started throwing up and having diarrhea. It ruined our vacation, but that is to say the least. We came home, and a couple of days later, I started seeing black dots in my vision, and went to the eye doctor, where they immediately sent me to the hospital, and diagnosed me with chorioretinitis which apparently came from a toxoplasmosis virus. This was all new to me, but the doctor has started asking me questions about if I have eaten any uncooked meat or not welly handled meat, or eaten unwashed fruits, and I was like no, I pay attention to these things, but I think I did have food poisoning a couple a weeks ago, on my vacation at Mitsis. The doctor then took tests, and identified that I had toxoplasmosis right around the time of the vacation, and it infact was not a small food poisoning thing. So overall, I am never going on an all inclusive vacation again after nearly going blind and taking steroids and antibiotics for months, it is not worth it..at least not at hotels that don't have basic hygiene :(

We enjoyed the hotel, and the vacation there was excellent. Right when we arrived at the hotel, the bellboy George greeted us, and he was very helpful and spoke excellent English. In general, all the service staff at the hotel (in the dining room, the bar, housekeeping, bellboys, and the reception) were very courteous, provided quick responses to any issue, and spoke good English. The cleanliness at the hotel was of a high standard. They cleaned the rooms and other areas, like the dining room and the pool area, very well. There were hand sanitizer stations almost everywhere in the hotel, and it was clear that cleanliness was a priority. Towels were replaced in the middle of the day, so there was no need to wait until the next morning, which I think is a big advantage and enhances the experience. The food in the dining room was tasty, of high quality, and there was a wide variety. The hotel has eight restaurants. I visited three of them, but in my opinion, the food there was much less tasty than in the dining room. It was dry and not well-prepared. Overall, this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I highly recommend it.

The room we stayed in was perfectly clean and plenty big enough, although I think it's fair to say it was in need of a slight revamp.
The hotel overall was excellent. The food was very good and the cocktails/beers were of a very good standard. What made it for me though were the hotel staff, they were all unbelievable, so nice.
Pools were clean with a life guard and plenty of sun beds.

The quality of the hotel is top notch. The staff at the reception were very helpful during my stay and did everything I asked for. Also the waiters were very kind and made you feel more than welcome.

Not bad for an all inclusive hotel, but definitely outdated. It felt like stepping back into 1980 and visiting your Yaya. Staff was friendly (with the exception of a rude bartender who appeared to be racist). Location was close to the medieval city which was nice. Having access to meals and drinks included was nice and the hotel offers 3 pools and a beach for guests. Food was good and fresh and there was plenty of seating. Sadly we got sick during the stay and ended up spending time recovering. The rooms are a good size and offer the standard amenities but the shower left a lot to be desired. It was a narrow shower which left little room to maneuver in. They are cleaned daily with turn down service which is really nice. It's also worth to note that a bulk of the guests appear to have been from Germany, Netherlands, or British so most signage was in those languages. For our trip out the concerige got us a taxi at a decent price. So not a bad place to stay.

I cannot speak highly enough about Mitsis Grand Hotel. We wanted to find a child-friendly hotel that would be good for our 3-year-old while also offer enough activity/have proximity to the town for my parents, sister, and brother-in-law. Mitsis really delivered on all counts. The location was perfect (a scenic 20 minute walk to the old town); the food was incredible; and the staff went above and beyond in every sense of the word. We had made arrangements for a family photo shoot about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. The taxi the hotel had requested canceled at the last minute and we couldn't get another one, so the wonderful George at the front desk (who brought our luggage to our rooms) immediately offered to drive us so that we wouldn't miss our appointment. We happily took him up on the offer, and the photo shoot went wonderfully. That is just one example of how incredible the hotel staff is. The on-premise head of children's activities/babysitter, Irene, is also a gem. She was so lovely with our son. We will definitely be back!!!

We stayed 7 days and everything was amazing! We had a lovely stay! This is a definitely a five star . The food was delicious, the rooms were charming and clean. The best part was the reception team especially .Always smiling and kind. The Guest relations Gianna helped us a lot and she was so kind. Also special mention Raphael,Yiannis from the restaurant ,the life guards also. I cannot remember all the names but thank you very much Grand hotel for the amazing stay. We recommend it and we definitely will came back.

We have had the most amazing stay at the Mitsis Grand! All the restaurants are amazing, the service in the Italian from Michael and his team was outstanding! The entertainment every night was really good. The staff and service in every department here were so good. Accessible to Rhodes town walking, great location. Rooms could do with an up do but really it doesn’t affect the quality of your experience here!

We went here for our anniversary. We visited Rhodes a year before and fell in love with amazing water. We really wanted to love Mitsis but it just didn’t work for us. The location of Mitsis hotel is incredible. It is right on the beach. They have rent-a-car within the hotel, so it was convenient to rent a car. However, there were few things that we found could have been better. First of all, the room bar was always lacking items. They would leave one bottle of beer, and when you would ask for a second one, cause there is two of us, we were told that you get one day water, one day beer. This hotel wasn’t cheap when booking for them to do this. And when they would give you secondary bottle of beer, they handed it with a grumpy face.
When it comes to food, there was a variety of choices every day. But the food all tasted the same and we felt that it wasn’t good enough for a five star hotel.
You can’t takeaway food to your room from the restaurant, you can’t takeaway pancakes and you’re not allowed to sit without a shirt (for a male) in front of the pancakes place, even tho it is right on the pool.
The bellhop was an incredibly nice person and we thank him for the service.
Overall, it is not a place we will go back to.
