Akti Taygetos - Conference Resort

The hotel is situated at a beautiful location just opposite of the beach. Amazing view, amazing cleanliness and such a great area inside and outside the hotel. The staff always ready to help you and always with a smile. Very nice rooms and an excellent breakfast.

The Akti Taygetos Resort is located a 20-minute drive from Kalamata. You can also take a taxi to get there, but renting a car is recommended for easier travel around the area.

I highly recommend this secluded hotel, which offers access to a pool with a lifeguard and a very quiet private beach. The hotel also features a breakfast, a restaurant, and a beach bar by the sea. However, the breakfast could use more variety.

To access the sea, you can either cross the road or use an elevator provided to get to the other side. Cocktails are priced at €12. You can also enjoy snacks like club sandwiches or salads.

The hotel is situated on the coast, just a seven-minute drive from various beach clubs. The staff at the hotel are very friendly, and special thanks go to the general manager, who is very attentive and ensures that every detail is taken care of for a pleasant stay.

Beach towels are available and must be returned every two days with a deposit. The hotel is located on a slope, so be prepared for a bit of a walk if your room is further away.

Rooms are fine, nothing special but good soundproofing and AC.
Good breakfast buffet from 7.30 to 10.30, pool suitable for kids (we have a 3yr old) and nice little private beach with rocks.
Receptionists were always very kind and available to call us taxis anytime we needed (the hotel is located at approx 12-15€ taxi ride from Kalamata).
The hotel is quite isolated, but with a car location is good to explore both Kalamata and the surroundings.

Nice place for vacation. It has private beach, a pool and spa. The dinner buffet needs an improvement.

If you’re looking for a quaint romantic experience, this place is not for you. It caters to tour groups who arrive in large motor coaches. As a result, breakfast is a crowded and rather chaotic affair. As school seemed to be on break, a large number of families with little kids were out and about. However, it is located nicely near the beach and the grounds are lovely. I don’t fault them for their business model, as it works for them and is needed, but not ideal for a couple that prefers more quiet and peace.

The location is very nice and the view is great. Unfortunately the rooms in the main building are old but renovated and I didn't really like mine. There were wonderful bungalows around the main building! Breakfast was average with no variety, and there was no espresso or cappuccino. There was a parking lot available for the guests, and we had no problem (although some guests think that they own the space and couldn't park properly!)
