This hotel was basic and cheap, which is great if that’s all you want. However, the food was not great; there wasn’t a big choice, the chef clearly can’t cook eggs (the omelette and scrambled eggs were SO rubbery) the salad bits were nice though. The room I had was ok, but the bathroom door didn’t close properly, the bed was very lumpy, I had to pay €10 for a kettle for my sleep apnoea device.. but, the air conditioning was great, very cold! The staff were ok, I had no issues with them. The room was cleaned well. There were very few English people there (I think I was 1 of maybe 5 people staying there) which was great for me, lots of Russians and Germans. The pools were nice, but one of the pools was losing its plastic from the floor of the pool. Overall I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone, unless you really just want a very basic place to sleep. P.s a few doors up is a great pool bar Valentina’s, very pretty, great pool, delicious food.. go there instead!

We arrived quite late and we were greeted by friendly staff and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were typical Grecian, basic but clean. Our room was located on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the large pool. We had a double bed, single bed, kitchen area, wardrobe and desk. We had dinner saved for us in the fridge with bottled water. The weather was typically 26oc, never an issue getting sun beds there were plenty around the pool. The hotel had three pools which were cleaned daily and a games area for kids! There was a small shop onsite and a bar and shop over the road. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was all nice, not a huge variety but plenty of options. Every night from 9.45pm in the entertainment area was either a disco, quiz or kareoke, we all really enjoyed this. Location was the only down side however there was a free shuttle bus to the beach from the hotel and main bus stop just at the bottom of the road and therefore wasn’t an issue for us. All staff were very friendly.. very nice week in Gouves.

Well plus marks 1st Very clean Staff working their socks off Pools nice if basic Negatives FOOD advice is to eat out bland watery greasy Chips and salad best option Head cook with pretty badges on his jacket walks around shouts at the staff in the kitchen for the whole dining room to hear Needs to go back to mac Donald's catering college at the very least for training No entertainment whatsoever ever Beer only served in half pint tumblers At least 3 miles from the beach Place is like a morgue of a nighttime Full of Russians another invasion So unless you like chips and salad and want to read 10 books best look somewhere else

The room was dirty it had eyelash extensions on the floor which I don’t wear, the bathroom/shower is absolutely disgusting…. Now for the food I think this will be the first holiday that I come home thinner than I went, it was the most disgusting weird food I have ever seen, and the drinks wow all inclusive for foul tasting wine and beer lucky there is a shop just by and the lady in there was lovely and they had loads of cocktails around €3 (€8 at the bar) stocked up on crisps and salami…. Would never ever come back! Worst all inclusive hotel I have ever stayed in

The rooms are very basic but they are clean. The staff are lovely and friendly. Food is very basic salty and not a lot choise, in bar is only white/red wine or beer, and they served in small plastic cups, so if fancy a pint its a 5x trip to bar. We stayed 2 out of 5 nights and found lovely place else where. Oh and the shower... there is no handle for it, so you have to do gymnasts to wash your hair 😉 P.S. if you happen to speak polish... this the place for you as even the booklets are in polish but not English, other than that it is ok ish hotels. Do not take all inclusive, meals are lush everywhere but here. Kurva 🤣🤣

Excellent hotel!!! Friendly staff, very varied and tasty food, clean and in our opinion corresponds to 5 stars!! Special thanks to Carlos (animator) - very funny and professional in his field 👍 The girls at the reception are smart in everything 🤗 The chef of the restaurant is brilliantly talented in preparing dishes. Natalia the waiter is very kind and friendly. We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back! Thank you 🙏

Hotel was clean, rooms are basic but comfortable, pool area is nice, food was pretty terrible but as long as they have chips I'm happy, also the animation guy was good funny and entertaining. Location is a bit out the way a 20 minute walk to the beach. The older woman on reception was horrible and rude to everyone, the hotel should put her in a position where she has no interaction with the public definitely not on reception.

Simply spectacular, 100% worth the stay in such a wonderful, family-friendly place. There's a bus from the airport to the hotel door, basically. I'd like to congratulate the two Spanish staff members for their great service and friendliness at all times, and the hotel in general. Thank you very much.
I'll be back!

Attended 12-26th July 2024. We have just arrived home from a fantastic 2 weeks at Lyda. We booked this holiday for my daughter’s 18th birthday and can honestly say we have loved it. We went as a family of 4, myself, wife, daughter and our son aged 12. We all had a great time. The rooms are basic and the beds are very but had no issues. The drains in the bathroom are connected from toilet, sink and bath so smells do back up a bit. The TV in the rooms only has BBC world news as English Channel and it’s only a 14” screen and is up high on the wall. There is a small kitchen counter in rooms but no kettle. We took a travel kettle etc. A full size fridge was in our room so plenty of room for milk, water or snacks. The food was lovely. Breakfast is basic and limited to local cereal, pastries, bread, chips….yes chips, small selection of cooked items but nice. Mid day snacks varied from chips and hotdog sausage, pizza or popcorn. Variable on different days. Lunch was always nice. Various meats, pasta, salad etc. Afternoon cakes for snacks. Evening meals again, very nice including a chef show grill option. Cakes, moose or jelly and ice cream for dessert. All inclusive drinks limited to wine, local beer, oozo or brandy. Soft drinks, lemon and orange Fanta, sprite, cola and water. Cocktails are amazing at around €7-8 each. Kids cocktails, spirits, milkshakes etc also available as cost. Bar opens at 11am. All inclusive service stops at 10.30pm. Tea and coffee available from machine FOC. I would recommend getting a drinks carrier to take with you, there are no trays to carry drinks and the plastic cups can be a pit flimsy and can be difficult to carry to tables or loungers. The pool bar wasn’t open when we were there as only open in high season. Pools are great and not very busy. Evening entertainment is limited and done by hotel entertainment. Usually lasts about 20min. Pool table, air hockey and grab machines available at a couple of euro each. Little shop on site. Reasonable price, water available in 6x2lt bottles for €1.40. 2 more shops just over the road. Hotel shuttle but to a small beach and only 5 min bus drive. Other beaches available along front. The bus runs at 10/12.30/3/5.30. Returns from beach back at 10.05/12.35/ 3.05/ 5.35. 15-20 min walk along sea front to main shopping street from the bus drop of. Very nice bars etc down the front. Anfield, Dreams, Wembley all very good. As English people we did find there was only a few other Brits in the hotel, mainly French, German and Polish. We did find some of them very rude but didn’t let it spoil anything. We all got mosquito bits and quite a lot so definitely take a good bug spray and after bite. I don’t normally get bit but ended up with about 14 bites. The crickets are constant and loud all day and night but son get used to them. All staff are great and friendly. There are a few cats that hang around the hotel and love a fuss. We had a late night flight back so paid for the room late check out. N
