It is a nice B&B, the rooms are clean, and generally, a decent place to stay for a couple of nights to enjoy the northern area near the airport and the surrounding attractions. Mike - the owner was very nice to us, gentle and welcoming, and charming with the kids. His wife- a bit of the opposite, seemed angry at the kids and had a lot of comments on how they behave or what they do. They might not be the quietest kids, but this is a family hotel eventually and kids make noise, jump to the pool, or fall some food to the floor. I always felt we were not welcome to be around when she was there. It's not the best feeling on vacation.

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per visitare la parte est di Creta. Partendo dagli aspetti positivi devo dire che la stanza era spaziosa e pulita. Buona la parte salata della colazione, migliorabile la dolce. Personale molto attento e disponibile in caso di richieste o per risolvere problemi che abbiamo avuto con il lavandino. Fra gli aspetti negativi vi era il terzo letto (per nostra figlia di 12 anni) era un divano letto molto duro con un solco nel mezzo. Manca la presa elettrica in bagno, quindi se si vuole usare la piastra per capelli, rasoio elettrico o caricare lo spazzolino elettrico bisogna farlo in stanza. Un ripiano in più nell'armadio avrebbe fatto comodo. La piscina è piccolissima e si tocca d'appertutto.

Chrisoula and Irene were wonderful hosts. We were warmly greeted and nothing was a problem. The room was spacious and very clean and the bathroom was massive!! Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and included bacon and eggs, pastries, home made Cretan pies, yoghurt, nuts, fruit, cereal and coffee and tea. There was something for everyone. We stayed for 1 week and would highly recommend Golden Sunlight for a well priced and enjoyable experience.

It was such a good stay and we felt very welcome. The rooms were so clean, the food was outstanding and the pool was so nice. Most of all we loved the people there and how nice and helpful they were. We will definitely be back.😻👍❤️

The hotel itself is wonderful. It's in a great location - an easy walk to the beach but right next to the local bus stop to get to anywhere along the main road. The hotel is small, quiet and wonderfully decorated. The rooms are kept immaculately clean. The best thing about this hotel is the family that runs it - Michalis, Ursula, Jenny and Manos. They are welcoming and super friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. We were there for a month and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Beautiful hotel! Family-run, the family is very welcoming and truly makes you feel at home. Everything is new, clean, and kept in perfect condition. Beautiful view. Woke up to the sunrise and ocean every morning.

The hotel is hold by a so sweetie family, very nice people, they always take care to their customer. Building and room are cleaned every day, the breakfast is perfect. I recommend.

we had a very nice vacation, the hotel is very clean and nice. there is a very family atmosphere, the hosts have a big heart and always help. everything is very well organized, gouves is a very family-friendly place, if you want to go to another city and don't have a car, that's no problem, the bus stop 15 is right outside the door and you have great connections to iraklion or malia. we had a great stay and would love to come back again.

The accommodation was really nice! The employees are really helpful and kind. The room was really clean and well decorated. The hotel is well placed as you are close to the beach and close to the main road! Thank you for everything you are wonderful!
