Alia Beach Hotel

It was a very unpleasant experience. We booked this hotel through an agency and it was advertised as 4 star hotel, but I would say it is maximum 2.5 star hotel. The rooms have very old and dirty ACs. We initially received a room where the air conditioning was missing some components( the swigs did’t exist) and you could have seen the interior filter through the hole and it was super dirty. Also the AC didn’t even cool, it was maximum ventilating. I asked the receptionist to change the room because I didn’t pay to have a non functioning AC and he was very rude, kept telling me that is a beautiful room that is big and that the AC is ok. In the end I had to call the agency through which I booked and they discussed with the receptionist and in the end after 4h of waiting he changed our room. The cleaning lady comes only to change towels and to clean the floor and came in the worst moments like when we left for breakfast and 40 min later when we came back in the room the floor was wet and we couldn’t get in the room without leaving marks.. The breakfast was very limited and identical every day. If you have allergies or a sensitive stomach you don’t have choices to eat. We have been in Greece many times, and we know the usual conditions on hotels, but this was by far the worst hotel we ever stayed in Greece in the last 8 years and it was super expensive for the conditions offered. Avoid this Hotel if you can!

If you call it horror, that would be even worse. The room cleaned up stiffly weak. The bedding and mattresses resemble a prison camp. The bedspread has holes from burned cigarettes. Toilet does not flush. Gordins can hardly be closed with a creak. There is nowhere to dry your towel and it smells stale. The hangers in the closet are falling apart. No noise insulation. Horrible shouting throughout the hotel of drunken underage girls who take in themselves in a room not guests. The staff is poorly responsive to complaints. Additional payment for a chaise longue at the hotel 7 euros, but to go into the sea is not possible, so the bottom of the sea is covered with stones. The umbrellas and chaise lounges have long since been replaced. Know, on the beach go to the toilet stray cats in the evening. If you plan to vacation here and go normally in the morning on an excursion you will not get it. You will be extremely annoyed and about the money spent as well.
Best of all, I do not recommend the rooms that are called side sea view, as you will see little, the wall of the neighboring hotel and shouting from the street at night and in the morning. Empty overpayment for a view of the sea, which is barely visible.

During my stay at Alia beach hotel, I had an extremely unsettling experience. Despite my attempts to resolve the matter, I was left with a mere €20.05 in my purse, and no sense of accountability from the hotel. This incident not only put a damper on my trip but also left me questioning the hotel's security measures and customer service integrity. I'm sharing my story to urge others to be cautious and mindful of their belongings when staying here.
