We had a lovely stay at Katrin Hotel & Bungalows. The location is great — just a short walk to the beach, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The rooms might be a bit dated in style, but they were always very clean and comfortable. The food was tasty with a good variety each day, and the pool areas were a nice place to unwind. The staff really made a difference during our stay. Marina was especially helpful and welcoming — you can tell she genuinely cares about the guests. Emmanuela at the reception was also kind and professional, and Dennis from the bar always served us with a smile and great energy. The cleaning staff also did a great job every day. Overall, a great value for money and a place we would happily return to!

We really enjoyed our stay as a family just recently. Dinners and breakfast were great at the main restaurant with a wide selection of fresh ingredients (we didn’t eat lunch there). The rooms were really clean and spacious and the hotel grounds were well kept. The only thing that could be improved is the children’s entertainment as it was lacking.

I don't often write a review but I would honestly say.. don't listen to the picky moaners!! Like most hotels if you're looking for something to moan about there will always be someone that will. The hotel and it's staff were fab and they genuinely couldn't do enough for you. The food we had was very tasty and a great choice for the size of the hotel. The pool areas were lovely and never had to join a sunbed brigade like most hotels. Never had a problem getting a bed anytime of the day. Rooms very clean our room was 2113. If I came back to this part of Crete I would chose this hotel again.

Just returned today after a fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel. We were in room 4009, which we could not fault. It was huge and had a huge balcony with great views. The room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were left as and when we left them in the bathroom. The room was fully air-conditioned, which was needed with the heat. We loved the breakfast. Loads to choose from and the pancakes were just gorgeous. We were not keen on the evening meal, especially the desserts, which tasted of detergent at times. With this in mind, we ate out most evenings. The team here can not be faulted. So polite and friendly and always saying hello as you passed. The bar was ok. My only issue was, as someone who does not drink alcohol, it was fizzy pop all the way. Hopefully, you will consider stocking none alcoholic local lager - there is plenty of them. The only gripe we had was that what we were led to believe was the adult only pool was full of kids of all ages and some where unaccompanied. With limited sunbeds, it often made finding a place to relax difficult, which did annoy us, given the huge pools for families next to our room. Overall, this was a fantastic hotel, and we will be returning next year, having already booked the Katrin Suites later in the year. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I booked a twin room with a plunge pool and It was the perfect escape I stayed in room 2001. The hotel is clean, the staff are all amazing and go above and beyond to make your holiday perfect. Dennis in the bar has the patience of a saint and is so great with everyone of all ages. The food was a good standard, very fresh and a nice selection. I had a complimentary massage which was outstanding and so needed. A lovely touch. The location is ideal just a 5 minute walk from the beach and everything you need. I have been to many destinations and this has to be one of my favourites . I can’t recommend it enough.

I had a lovely stay. Travelled for some very last minute sunshine as a solo trip. Staff welcoming and friendly. Nice pool area, no needed to reserve sun loungers, they were available all day. Not too busy when I went. Food was ok, not the best but what can you expect with such reasonable price!

We stayed here for a week at the back end of the season. I have no complaints about my stay and would visit again. There is a good choice of food in the restaurant, which has indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are very good and the Hotel has a good standard of cleanliness.

The rooms have air-conditioning and comfortable beds. My only criticism is the rooms could do with a bit of updating. You need to bring your own shower gel and shampoo.

There are a couple of pools, with a separate one for the children. We had entertainment most nights, but this was probably due to being at the end of the season.

There is a bus stop outside the Hotel, and it's only a few minutes walk to some very nice beaches, surrounded by a good selection of bars and restaurants.

As a family of 5 we really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed 19th October for 1 week. The hotel accommodations are a mixture of old and new, we stayed in the old part but the room was fine and spacious. The room was cleaned and beds changed everyday. The hotel staff are brilliant throughout. We used the kids area pool everyday although there is a much quieter pool at the top for mainly adults chilling out. The food was good in the restaurant and the self serve beer and soft drinks were good. The location is great just a short walk from the beach. You have to go under a small subway and then down a bit of dusty back alley through some buildings to access the beach where there is a ton of shops and restaurants. Visit romantic corner for good food and views. The hotel could do with some tweaks here and there but overall we enjoyed are stay and would return!

Entertainment was sub-par and pool table is in a ridiculous place, other than that it can't be faulted. Rooms were nice with good AC, the complex was clean and tidy, food was great and every member of staff was friendly, nice and helpful. Had a great stay and would recommend.

Fantastic hotel, staff wonderful with restaurant manager (I think that his name is Nikos) pure 10 for team work. Everyone is very friendly and ready to help. Every evening is themed and has a variety of content. You have literally everything in the hotel. The rooms are extremely clean, the food is plentiful, we are literally never hungry.
