Avoid Corvin Point Hostel – Not Clean
We stayed at Corvin Point for one night last month, having originally booked for three. The hostel was dirty and dust with surfaces that clearly hadnt been cleaned in some time. The construction happening on the outside of the windows only made the dust situation worse.
It felt like the place was not regularly maintained at all.
Due to respiratory health concerns, we had no choice but to find another place to stay for the remaining two nights. When we asked for a refund for the unused nights, the desk staff said they couldn’t help and referrred us to management. Unfortunaley, management never responded to our emails which was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.
I wouldn’t recommend this hostel to anyone.

Beautiful rooms, great location but when booking keep in mind it's self service (no daily cleaning) and their reception works online so you should keep in touch with them to get your codes /keys to your apartment.

The gentleman at the check-in desk was friendly enough and great at showing us where to explore in the city. That’s it for the good. The bad: the bed bug infestation. I killed four of them (two of which were found near the bed, one near the main light switch, and one on the bathroom floor). I have many bite marks all over my torso. Also, the hotel is supposed to have a staff member at reception 24 hours of the day, but this is not the case. I got locked out of my room in the middle of the night and rang the reception bell continuously with no answer. Strongly would not recommend this hotel until they increase their standards.

The location is really good. However, it looks like it hasn't been cleaned and there's a lot of dust. I wouldn't recommend the condition of the room.

We stop as the dogs in the house start to get agitated... and also it is raining at this point and we are still outside.
We look for other hotels nearby.
We go to one, start to check in... DURING which I get a call from this place, with an attitude that the gentleman @ the Reception was away for 10 minutes only to give out a room.... and thus we had to wait in the rain as the Reception room was also closed in the meantime.
They did not refund the room either, because it was "non-refundable" at booking, even though they left us hanging without any information whatsoever.
Congratulations.

The best accommodation in Budapest! The owner is super super hospitable and the room is well-equipped with everything. The location is also wonderful! The bus stops and Metro stations are nearby. I will only choose this accommodation when I am next in Budapest!

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE EVER!! As we walked in through the entrance we noticed very obvious differences between the photos and the hostel in person. Whilst we could get past the dirty entrance and the not so welcoming area this hostel was in, we quite literally could not get past reception. We sat out on the concrete steps of reception (clearly labelled as the entrance to reception) ringing the bell and knocking for 40 minutes!! (Between 2:40 and 3:20, check in begins at 2pm so highly unlikely they were taking a 40 minute break at this time, plus no signs up on the door with info either). Ended up having to pay for another taxi to take us to a reputable hostel closer to town. So not happy especially as this was non refundable however we will be going through the company we booked with to make sure we aren’t paying for a hostel that couldn’t even open the door for us!

After coming home we started to see (and feel) the bed bug bites. I do not recommend staying here unless you want to come home itching like crazy and having to spend a fortune on pest control. When I informed the hotel of the situation, I received no answer back, which is both incredibly rude and dangerous for next people staying in that room. The guy in the front desk was nice though.

We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights......as we arrived I asked myself "but where have we ended up?" Because looking at it from the outside the place was horrible, the hall where we were welcomed by Zoltan, an exceptional and very nice person, smelled of humidity!!!! But as we entered the house I had to change my mind....the apartment was practically new, clean, large....two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room and laundry room! We had a great time!!!

Had a great stay. The location and price are absolutely worth it if you’re not going to be in Budapest for too long. Reception was incredibly nice and helpful. Clean room. Only issue was a leaky shower door; otherwise 5 stars!
