Amazing hotel, the staff was very nice and friendly. The front desk guy was very helpful and made recommendations regarding restaurants, tours and made himself available to help with many other things.
The hotel location is superb, close to the main attractions.
Breakfast was very nice too.
The only downside in our opinion was the bed, it was too stiff.
But I’d definitely come back and recommend it 100%.

Great place to stay, location on the Buda side of Budapest. Excellent help by the concierge when we arrived. Rooms are modern and well done. We needed to take an early train and they packed the 4 of us lunch to go as we would be missing the included breakfast- above and beyond in a world that is not as giving.

Lovely boutique hotel. Rooms are spacious and v modern. Clean common areas. Breakfast was very good. Staff at the front desk are extremely helpful.
Only drawback I can say that it is located in the quiet section of the city....not too much around. Most of the action is happening on the Buda side where you have to cross the bridge over Danube.

Overall we enjoyed this hotel. The front staff was very helpful. The room was a little small but functional. The breakfast was ok. The food selections were varied, but we felt the coffee machines produced extremely weak coffee and cappuccinos. These weren't deal breakers, we'd probably stay there again.

Dear Monastery Boutique Hotel Budapest team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my recent 3-day stay at your hotel.
The first day was satisfactory; however, on the second day, after returning from a city tour, I found my room in a deplorable state. The bathroom was dirty, the used coffee cups were placed back in their original spot without being washed, and the wet towels were neither collected nor replaced. The experience was quite disappointing.
When I reported this situation to the reception, I was given a replacement cup and explained that there were two of us, expecting them to also bring a second. The response I received was that they do not clean every day and that perhaps there was not enough time, which was accompanied by an unprofessional attitude. Finally, the receptionist brought both cups up with a look of displeasure.
Unfortunately, due to this experience, I have decided not to consider your hotel for future stays. I hope you take this feedback into account to improve your services.

Excellent quality Buffet breakfast. Family oriented. It is near the tram stop. Or you can walk from the metro stop 500 m. Scrambled eggs sausages, beans and bacon are really good. Breakfast costs €10.

Best Hotel i've stayed in so far. Very clean, friendly staff an charming garden bar/restaurant.At nights it's very quiet so we had a good rest, unique design an attention to details. Also it's basically in the heart of Budapest so it was very easy to have a relaxing walk through main attractions. Suitable fir couples/honeymooners or romantic escaped. They also have good wifi and small perks for guests. Amazing place , loved it! highly recommend!
