We look forward to seeing you in the morning at the buffet for a hearty breakfast. If you want a good meal or snack in the meantime, then our restaurant is there: H2 Hub is open from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. and offers hot and cold dishes. This allows you to explore the city on the Danube at your own pace, slotting in a break in the H2 Hub if you need it. Reviews
The rooms are stylish, modern, spacious, and designed in a minimalist industrial style: clean lines, shelves, hangers, and a bench instead of closed closets or drawers. There aren’t many enclosed compartments or drawers, so if you travel with a lot it can feel a bit tight, but there’s enough room to keep things organized. Room cleaning can be requested since it’s not automatic daily. A safe is available from reception on request. Toiletries cover the basics, but extras like shower caps or slippers would have been nice. Also, there are no coffee/tea facilities in the room.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, making check-in and requests smooth. Breakfast was decent, good enough to start the day.
Overall, a comfortable stay with clean rooms, helpful staff, and a prime location in one of Pest’s best neighborhoods.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of Pest. The room was comfortable, though it didn’t have a refrigerator, safe, or tea/coffee-making facilities. Reception kindly provided a kettle when requested. Our “double bed” was actually two singles pushed together with separate duvets, which wasn’t ideal. Housekeeping was good and kept the room tidy each day. Breakfast was tasty with a nice variety, and check-in was smooth. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely return to this hotel.
Good breakfast, good service, good room with a reasonable price.
I’d especially like to thank Viki at the front desk — she was incredibly helpful and kind.
Due to some personal preferences, I needed to change rooms, and Viki handled everything swiftly and professionally. She even showed me the new room beforehand to make sure it was suitable. Her warm attitude and efficiency made me feel truly cared for and ofcoz made my stay at Budapest even more memorable :)
Breakfast menu choices should be improved.
The tap water is said to be drinkable however it comes too hot every now and then, even at the coldest setting.
Single liquid for soap, shampoo and conditioner. No lotion in bathroom.
AC is a bit weak and recommended to leave it on during hot days with keys inserted.
No gym, swimming pool, sports, games etc.
Unfortunately, there was construction on the building's exterior that began early in the morning, disrupting our rest. When we shared this concern with the receptionist upon checkout, her response was unprofessional; she gave us a strange look and offered no comment or acknowledgement. We expected at least a polite apology or assurance that our feedback would be taken into account.
Despite its minimalist aesthetic, the room lacked a few basic amenities. There was no kettle or mini-fridge, making it difficult to store or prepare cold drinks in the summer heat. There was also no bedside table, so I had to place a glass of water on the floor next to the bed. I accidentally stepped on it one night, which could have caused serious injury. Guests should have access to water without getting up overnight, especially in such hot weather.
Furthermore, simple amenities like slippers (usually complimentary at most hotels) were only available for an additional fee. When we requested room cleaning, we were disappointed to find that the dirty sheets hadn't been changed. The pillows were also very uncomfortable. There weren't enough hangers for two people.
Although breakfast was included in our stay, we only tried it on the last day, and it was sadly disappointing. The selection was quite limited, and some of the vegetables, especially the cucumbers, were far from fresh. It would have been better if they hadn't been served at all.
Despite these drawbacks, the hotel's central location remains a strong advantage. The overall experience could be significantly improved with greater emphasis on guest comfort, basic room amenities, and professional customer service.
