Hotel De La Ville

The hotel is charming with beautifully decorated rooms and common areas that showcase an old-world charm. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Breakfast was very good.
The hotel provided a comfortable and pleasant environment, making it a great place to stay while working and exploring the beautiful city of Florence.

The staff at this hotel will make every effort to ensure the comfort and well-being of the customers. This includes the restaurant staff, the cleaning ladies and the front desk. We will definitely be back. Thank you

This hotel was chosen largely based on location and to some degree price, although it was somewhat expensive over the Halloween weekend. They use dynamic pricing so you will want to watch days you are booking, as the price changes quite a bit.

The location itself is wonderful. It is a short walk from the train station or the tram from the airport. It is very close to many of the things Florence is famous for and if you like to to shop - well the high end stores surround the place.

Check in was very straight forward and staff both at the desk and in the bar/restaurant are helpful and attentive. Our room included breakfast, which was very good. We usually had the hotel breakfast and dinner with a small snack to get us through. The bar was fine, yet expensive. The bar does a happy hour with various canape's starting at 6pm for about an hour. The room was fine; a Junior Suite but laid out kind of oddly with a couch/bed and TV with bathroom on one side and the a king bed/TV and ensuite on the other. The ensuite in the main bedroom was a bit crowded. Our bed was very comfortable.

Oddly, when we wanted ice to chill wine, we had to ask at the bar and then take it to the room ourselves; seems odd to us. We had no coffee (they only had instant for the room) in the room and although we asked for it, it never did appear. For the nightly rate we would expect better.

The room and hotel in general are showing some age and could use some investment.

If you are planning to go to Florence, this is the place for you. It is walking distance to all.
If you have a car they will park it for you.
The room is very clean. With a pleasant staff and amazing breakfast included

Beautiful. Conveniently located. Amazing accommodations. Could use a new elevator but hopefully next time I visit it's better. Great breakfast.

our first hotel was horrible max.. 2 hrs after check in and we were already finding another hotel.. chanced by this hotel and reza was extremely helpful and assuring. dint manage to get his colleague name but they were both so professional and wide smiles even though already late night..

Classic style, well maintained, spacious, stylish. Location very good. Room was very spacious, also the bathroom. Pleasant surprise. Breakfast excellent. View on the old church across the street magnificent.
