If you are planning to go to Florence, this is the place for you. It is walking distance to all.
If you have a car they will park it for you.

Beautiful. Conveniently located. Amazing accommodations. Could use a new elevator but hopefully next time I visit it's better. Great breakfast.

our first hotel was horrible max.. 2 hrs after check in and we were already finding another hotel.. chanced by this hotel and reza was extremely helpful and assuring. dint manage to get his colleague name but they were both so professional and wide smiles even though already late night..

Classic style, well maintained, spacious, stylish. Location very good. Room was very spacious, also the bathroom. Pleasant surprise. Breakfast excellent. View on the old church across the street magnificent.

Unless all you care about is central location and can endure bad accommodations, please avoid this hotel.
Place is way outdated. Only 1 key (physical key not key card) per room makes it so difficult when we split up places. Bedding was dirty even after we got it changed. Bathroom floor pools with water because there isn’t a full shower glass door or curtain. Smells stale throughout the building and in the room because of old carpet. Bugs and flies in present in the room and lobby. Even worse, I got bug bites sitting in the lobby for 5 minutes. Breakfast was low effort here, worse than sorrento. We liked the sorrento De la Ville location, but please avoid the Florence one.

- The room itself is small but charming.
- Breakfast is nice and the staff serving breakfast is well-trained, courteous, and attentive.
- Right next door to Hermes and Isabel Marant. Quick walk to the train.

- Wifi signal is spotty.
- One of the neighboring guests had been smoking cigarettes in the room and the smell infiltrated the entire hallway and my room. When alerted the front desk, instead of admitting the smell they were dismissive, denied that anyone was smoking indoors, and tried to hide the smell by vacuuming the hallway. It would've been much more pleasant and a better customer service if they acknowledged the smell and took action to improve my stay.
- Second floor was blocked off due to construction. My room was located directly above it, so I barely slept from all the drilling and noise.
- There's a bellhop but he didn't bother to touch my luggages and just walked me to my room, while watching me struggle with my luggages.

This hotel is located in a very idea location close to many attractions and delicious restaurants. The included breakfast was a plus and good, with lots of variety. The staff was friendly and called the room when my cab was there for an early morning departure.
4 stars because the room was extremely hot and I couldn't adjust the thermostat on my own. I opened the window the 2nd night and it was better. Also, they say you have to leave your key at the desk when you leave. I didn't like having to do that, but after a while I just didn't and no one gave me a hard time.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in august 2022. The location of the hotel is very convenient because it is very close to the shopping area and to the Duomo. It has parking service. If you are renting a car, it is important to arrive at the hotel before 7 pm because the parking garage close early. In addition, after 8 pm some streets are closed to the traffic. Therefore, I recommend to arrive before 7 pm to make sure that you are not going to worry about your vehicle and to arrive to the hotel.
In regard to the rooms, the space is fine, the cleaning is also very good, and there is no noise during the night. Breakfast is very good and plenty of food! The staff is very friendly and helpful! I really recommend this hotel!! We will come back for sure!

My family stayed for three nights during the month of September 2023.
This is a difficult hotel to review and recommend either way. Positives: great location; excellent, proficient and friendly staff; rooms are large and generally well equipped. Negatives: a certain “smell” (think sewage?) permeates the building and seems to be worse in some rooms; internet is very spotty, intermittent and slow (surprising for this level of hotel); air conditioning can also be “spotty” - make sure to check it before unpacking your bags! Not sure we would stay here again given there are so many other options in Florence.
