NH Genova Centro

Stayed at both the Marina and Centro NH Hotels and I highly recommend staying in the Marina NH hotel, not this one. The rooms in the marina were more spacious and nicer. The front desk people that work at the Centro NH during the day were horrendous and very rude. Hospitality industry isn’t cut out for them but at the NH Marina they were much more hospitable and helpful. Parking was a bit cheaper in the Marina parkade and they also have a water station in the lobby.

As more than 24 hours have already have passed and I did not receive my money back for this inconvenience, i guess it’s time for the internet to know what this 4 star hotel has to offer. (Photos included).
Well…it’s BEDBUGS!! And a lot of them…or at least enough to transform a short and sweet one night stay in NH HOTEL GENOA CENTRO a living nightmare.
And not only the presence or parasites, but the sheets there were for sure NOT changed as I found a blood stain which was NOT mine there.
Also the mattress protection was full of bedbug eggs- actual proof that that has never been changed.
Not to add the fact that both me and my mother who booked the room with me have multiple allergies - specially caused by dust and insects. Lucky we are both doctors and nothing worse happened. Though the situation was bad and harmful both for our health AND our mental status in the middle of our vacation.
What do I get as a paying costumer in the end?! Ignorance, blisters on my skin, health issues and unanswered emails.

Changing to a 1 star. We had no cold water tonight. The rooms smell like a hospital and they’re in desparate need of a renovation. Trashed. We paid over €150 per night, it’s worth more like €80 per night. We saw two rooms, both filthy. Rejected the first because of mold in bathroom and stains everywhere.
