Best Western Plus Hotel Spring House

From the moment we stepped into the hotel we felt very welcomed.
The staff is amazing here.
Our first time to Rome.
At check in, the clerk gave us a map of Rome and with a highlighter, marked all the main attractions to see. This made our adventure very easy and this was very helpful.
The “spa/hot tub” was just what our bodies needed after we walked miles around the city.
It was the perfect Place to relax on a very hot day.
The water is the best temperature for a hot muggy day.
The location is right beside the Vatican and with the Metro (transportation system) close by, it made it very easy to get around.
We were going to do a hop on hop off bus tour, but with the stories of busses being full and the stops really lined up… which they are.
We decided to do our own adventure with a day transportation pass.
It was much cheaper and better than relying on a bus that you may or may not get on.
We preferred this route in the end.
There is most likely a lot more walking but so worth it.
Nothing held us up doing what we wanted.
The breakfast at this hotel is top notch!
Every morning we had a great breakfast to start the day.
The presentation of the food was almost feeling like a fine dining restaurant.
Perfect way to start the day.
I have been to many best westerns and this is by far the number one on my list.
Once again, the STAFF is amazing and very friendly.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. In a sea of poor Italian customer service, this was an oasis of relief. The front desk staff was very kind and engaging. They also allowed us to check in early which was a huge relief to escape the 100deg heat. If I'm ever forced to go to Rome again, then I will be sure to stay here.

This hotel is within site of the Vatican which was our goal. My husband and I landed in Rome and had only two hours before our tour of the Vatican. The hotel held our baggage while we went on the tour and put in our room when it was available. The room was clean, string a/c and good price. The best part of the property is the staff who are friendly and helpful. I would like to commend Hector, Natasha and Chiara for assisting with returning the item left in the safe. What a surprise to receive it back. I do not think I would have received the same courtesy in the United States.

The best part was the staff. Each person we can in contact with was amazing. Customer experience definitely a priority here. We had a 3 and a 6 year old, the team went out of their way to make us comfortable. The room and facility was modern and very clean. Very close to the metro and the Vatican. If I go back to Rome, I would stay here again.

We stayed here for 5 nights in May 2024 and really enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 4 (2 teenagers) and reserved the loft room with a king bed and 2 twin beds (pull out bed can be used as 2 twins) It is located just around the block from the Vatican and a couple blocks from the metro. The staff, especially Ricardo in the restaurant and Ettore (I hope I spelled that right? He works the front desk and is AMAZING) were wonderful and so helpful with any questions we had. The continental breakfast was 15 euros per person and worth it. They had a wide variety of options. The restaurant was honestly better than most restaurants we tried in the city and much less expensive. The club sandwich, carbonara and lasagna were our favorites. The only thing I would suggest is replacing the king bed in the room we were in. It is extremely worn and my husband had to sleep on an air mattress after night one. When we woke up he could barely walk and my back was in agony, but we made due. Overall, the hotel was great, the staff were great and the location was perfect for us!

Very convenient location (1 minute walk from the Vatican Museum entrance), very kind staff, always a smiling and very helpful in the services offered and in the advices for getting around the city. The hotel has a large terrace with sauna and Jacuzzi with sun beds and chairs to relax (free and reserved for the guests 😀). We had a great time.

A very well located hotel. Close to every neat attractions near Vatican City. Clean, spacious, well lit. Small privacy terraces and open view. Nice staff and service. Well managed and attentive to clients in need of extra attention or service. Breakfast on time, lots of choices, nice variety and good food. Overall is appreciative. Small restaurant but top menu and service. A great choice for a reasonable price giving its stars. A nice selection if you want an easygoing fancy stay near the city center.

The concierge contacted us soon after we made the reservation. She asked if she could help us with transportation from the airport to the hotel! That made our travel less stressful. I wanted to get a. hair cut during our stay in Rome, Ciara, recommended a salon, and I am very happy with the results. All of the staff were kind and helpful. The hotel was immaculate clean.

We had the 3 person room (doesn’t seem to be many places that hold 4) with one queen bed and one twin. Cozy pillows and mattresses and the water pressure and temperature were fantastic! The service was great! The staff all remembered my room number and were very accommodating and friendly. They helped with maps and circled points of interest for us. Their breakfast was totally worth the per person rate of $15- large selection of foods and drinks. We ate elsewhere a few times and ended up deciding at the hotel worked out to be cheaper and with a bigger selection of foods were more used to (eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes, donuts, croissants and cereal, etc). The amenities are great with two hot tubs, a sauna and workout room. A few outdoor areas to enjoy, but the best part was the location. You’re basically right on the Vatican wall and very easy commute to everything Rome has to offer! It’s also reasonably priced. I definitely recommend staying here.

Rooms get a 4 because they are small but that's not uncommon for Europe. Can't say enough about the staff. My husband lost his phone. We weren't sure if it was at the restaurant or taxi. Alessandro took charge and had a phone on each ear, one to the taxi company and one to the restaurant. My husband had his phone back in 10 minutes. Great spa area with hot tub and steam room. We went there every night after a day of sightseeing. No one else was in it. Location. 5 minutes from the Vatican Museums, 20 minutes from St. Peter's square. Short ride downtown on the Metro and to the museums and shops and Colloseum. Highly recommend this place. Was business for my husband vacation for me in February. No line ups.
