Terrace Pantheon Relais Mini-hotel

Just returned from our third stay in a row at Terrace Pantheon Relais, and we continue to be completely in love with this hotel. The suite rooms are stylish, spacious, have great air conditioning, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Breakfast each morning is generous and absolutely delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. After a long day of sightseeing, the rooftop bar is the perfect spot to unwind with a drink and some nibbles. And you truly can’t beat the location.

But what really keeps bringing us back year after year is the staff. Dave greets you each morning with the most contagious smile and is always ready to help. The housekeeping team and the young staff working the breakfast room are equally kind, warm, and attentive—you’re always met with genuine smiles and wonderful service.

The front desk team is just as impressive. The young women who check you in and out are so kind and cheerful—we tried to tip one of them on our last day and she wouldn’t take it, simply saying, “I’m just doing my job.”

And then there’s Marco. We had a box of clothes we wanted to ship home, and he went above and beyond to help. Even after we had moved on to another city, he continued to call the courier service every day, kept in touch via email, and made sure the package got to us safely about a week after we had left Rome and had arrived home.

Whoever owns this hotel should feel incredibly proud of their staff—and I hope they treat them with the same care and respect the staff shows to every guest.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and we loved it. The hotel itself is very clean and modern. Location was safe and perfect for walking to famous landmarks (about 2 minutes from the Pantheon) and restaurants. The staff were very kind and accommodating, quickly providing us with any requests we had. We ended up extending our stay and even though our room was not available they helped us transfer to another room. It was very easy and stress free! I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff here are beyond amazing. Friendly, sincere, kind and always smiling. The hotel has a ton of character and a great breakfast buffet. The location is great and very walkable.

I almost don’t want to tell people how nice this hidden gem is. You could walk right by the big doors and not know a charming hotel, that is clean, with the MOST incredibly friendly staff lay inside. Everything from check in, breakfast, rooftop bar, and keeping our luggage after we checked out was top notch. Thank you for a great impromptu stay.

Overall the hotel is very nice. The hotel is in a wonderful location, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean. However, when my husband and I checked in we were told we were on the first floor. They then took us to our room and to our surprise they took us outside and down the street to some other building (an apartment building) where they have only 1 floor of hotel rooms. This was NOT mentioned anywhere on their website and none of the staff warned us when we checked in that our room was in this other building. We were very confused and uncomfortable being completely separate from all of the other guests, the staff and the amenities. We tried to shake it off since our room was nice and it was very secure. BUT the apartments above us were extremely noisy. All hours of the day and night. Kids running, furniture moving and doors slamming. We mustered up the courage to say something to the nice girl at the front desk, to which there was no resolution. Our last night the noise was horrible so we called the front desk to complain again - because we did not sign up nor pay this much money to stay at a hotel to then stay in a separate building and have to deal with the noise above us. If they hotel is going to have these few rooms separate they need to have it advertised on the website or mentioned when you book your room so guests are not blindsided like we were.
