Relais Monti

We selected this hotel due to its proximity to the train station and many sites in Rome. The room was clean and comfortable, and even though the elevator was slow, it was great to have that available for transferring luggage. Overall, we liked this property and would stay there again if ever back in Rome.

Excellent location. Comfy room. Lacked a clothing iron. Shower was lukewarm. Still a very comfy room. Enjoyed the stay.

Stayed here with my 13 year old. It looks like it was a apartment building turned hotel with four floors. It’s a old building but has a elevator. The elevator is small and slow but does the job. The rooms have been nicely renovated with a modern look. There are some areas that could be fixed and touched up but it didn’t really bother us. There is a terrace on top floor.. no frills but nice to sit on a nice day. The location of this hotel was great. Metro nearby and the Roma termini was a 10 min walking distance. The neighborhood is super cute with lots of restaurants, cafe, shops and very close to the colosseum but far away enough to be away from the tourist crowd. The staff were amazing! They were super nice and very helpful with whatever we needed. If you want to have a real Rome experience..stay here. If you need large rooms with many amenities, this is not for you. This is a small hotel on a lovely quaint streets of Rome with access to everything.

Stayed here for a night while in between AirBnBs - the location was perfect! The room was as it looked in the photos and I found everything to be clean and lovely. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me when I dropped my luggage off early in the morning before check-in and the next day after check-out but before my train. They even brought my luggage to my room when it was ready, and were super friendly and kind in every interaction.
One note I'll mention, if you're on the 4th floor and like to sleep in, request a room further from the breakfast room. I was right next to it and it was quite noisy starting around 6:30/7 am (not a problem because I was already awake, but I could see it be annoying if you're trying to sleep).
Otherwise, I recommend!! The terrace is gorgeous too.

This is the best hotel I've stayed in during all my visits to Rome. Great location within 13 min walk from Termini and Piazza Repubblica. 2 min walk to Cavour metro. The people at the front desk, especially Leslie, were top notch. The rooms were very clean and the cleaning staff were very nice. The water pressure and temperature were very good. The beds were comfortable. Also, we accidentally left some stuff in the room and the cleaning staff returned it to us. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.

Great boutique hotel. Comfortable bed and very large bathroom. Great location. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel but when we were there the accommodations were wonderful.

This hotel has the Most comfortable bed and high pressure water!!! (which is the most important factor for my comfort) Also there’s a small convenient store nearby that has everything. And the dessert shop, ATM, nice restaurants all close to this hotel.. the stairs are carpeted, wide and mildly steep which made it easy to go up with suitcases (elevator looked too slow lol)

This place deserves all the attention it can get!
It's located almost in the heart of Rome, basically everywhere you can walk, most of the sights are pretty close. But if you're not in a walking mood, there is a metro station 5 minutes from the place. The location is excellent, not mentioning all the good restaurants (including outstanding burgers and ice cream) and multiple shops around.
Hotel itself is very clean, looks absolutely stunning for this price. But what makes it really special is the staff, which is always helpfull, either you have a problem with going places, or you just need advice about the city. There is also very nice and cozy roof available for guests.
Overall if you're looking for a place to spend few days in good location, with good conditions and good communication - this is the place.

Great location but what makes Relais Monti special is the customer service!! All staff are very nice and extremely helpful but Max went above and beyond, helping us out with a difficult situation related to lost baggage from our flight. Great people at this hotel.
