The best hotel in Siracusa!!! I am not telling jokes. Giusy is the best host I have ever met in all Italy. The room location was perfect, just 5 min walk to the old city. We parked for free right in front of the hotel. Breakfast is awesomeee and the beds are very comfortable. I absolutely reccommend this place!

A stone's throw from Ortigia, an ancient basement, elegant, well-kept, clean and with all comforts. The owner, courteous and helpful, offers an excellent breakfast. The free parking in front of the entrance is very convenient. Great!

The location is ideal and the rooms are spacious and very clean.

The breakfasts were ok. The double room is very small, but the balcony is quite spacious. The bathroom door was broken, deformed, and didn't close at all. Don't be surprised by the mustachioed nighttime guests in this bathroom (cockroaches). The maids seem to be diligent in cleaning the room, but the bathroom definitely needs repairs, and one of the power outlets is loose in the wall.

A very basic hotel. The hotel was conveniemtly located in Siracusa. The room service was excellent. But the bed pillow, however, was very flat and uncomfortable as well as the bed matress.

I spent 5 days at this hotel while in Siracusa for a conference. Even though my Italian is only intermediate, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind. They made sure that I understood all the entrance and exit rules for after hours and checked regularly to make sure that my needs were met. My room was small but perfect for this type of trip. During the Easter holidays my husband, my son and I decided to spend some days in one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. B&B in Ortigia, not far from the Santa Lucia bridge with the enviable plus of absolute quiet in the heart of the tourist area of ​​Syracuse. Palazzo Gilistro is a perfect stay. Its location can't be beat, near to many restaurants and to the promenade for sunset views. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just the right amount to get going in the morning. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The Wifi was speedy. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

We originally wanted to be in Ortigia thinking we’d be too far if we stayed in Siracusa. It’s a short mile walk to Ortigia and well worth it to stay here! The breakfast is out of this world! As are the lunch and dinners. The only private beach anywhere in Siracusa and just stunning design both inside and on the grounds. The staff is some of the best I’ve seen. It’s family run and they bend over backwards...

My husband and I had the most wonderful time here. The entire staff was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, especially Francesca who gave us perfect recommendations for dinners and drinks in Ortigia. The room was very comfortable, and the private beach was so nice. I appreciate the attention to detail, it’s obvious they care about creating an enjoyable experience.

Overwhelmed by the generous and thoughtful hospitality here. Francesca and the entire staff were incredible and attentive. Having read some of the negative complaints it’s obvious those guests were looking for a ‘deal’, were bad guests themselves or simply have no understanding of how much it costs to operate lodging at this level of perfection. I would recommend this stay to anyone visiting.

3rd time staying here ,it must be one of the most unique hotels because of the sheer proximity to the water ,luxury and simplicity combine very well . They made us feel part of the family ,will definitely be back .

Everything was just perfect! I appreciated very much interest and help with parking from the owner. Parking is very limited in this place and the owner was very helpful and quicky sorted out our problem with rented car and he navigated us to a "hidden" garage which you can not even find on any map...Room was very clean, neat and tidy, quiet place. Beautiful structure 250 steps from the sea and the same number from Piazza Duomo. Anacleto is very kind and helpful. Very nice room. Excellent breakfast with warm croissants and bread.

Fantastic room, great size, great shower. Amazing service and assistance from lovely hosts, would definitely stay here again. Reasonably priced too! Average breakfast for a vegan but then again that's the same everywhere in Sicily! Recommended.

Little corner of paradise run by two welcoming, friendly and professional guys. Excellent location, new and cleaned rooms every day but the garden that welcomes cacti, palms and wonderful tropical plants wins over everything ... to be considered a World Heritage Site! Despite the restrictions imposed by Covid, Peppe and Martina have always found a way to offer us delicious breakfasts.

We loved our stay here. We were o my here one night but would have loved to have stayed longer. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the archaeological sights. They have parking within the property which is handy but even the street out front is quiet enough to park if needs be. Very good location right in the old town. Not far from the monitored parking lot. Clean room and comfortable bed. Unfortunately we ran out of water at night, the next day it was taken care of immediately, water was brought to us and the entire price for the night was waived. Giuliana has created a really special place in Ortigia. The space was spotlessly clean, safe, comfortable, tasteful. Breakfast was delicious & generous. We didn't make any reservations and asked for a room on the spot, and it turned out to be the best and the most affordable B&B of our week in Sicily. Rooms decorated with love, a few 100 meters away from a lovely swimming spot on some rocks by the coast, and a great breakfast. Also with a nice bar down below. Me and my wife spent five days of our honeymoon here. We loved it! The host made us feel like home and serves us the best breakfast with tasty Italian treats. For my birthday we got surprised with balloons and candles for the cake. We are so happy and could not have asked for anything more than this. The location is absolutely great!

Situation : excellent, you can do the best of Siracusa old city from there. But parking a car is quite difficult (you may have to use the paying one, Talete 10€/day). People : very helpful, (also to park the car) Confort : ok It's a beautiful place with affordable price

Stayed here for 2 nights. Located slightly remote, but worth the drive. With a pool overlooking the sea and overall feel of relaxation, this is a place I would come back to. Had a meal on the second night, cooked by what felt like a local mother, and it was delicious.

The view was great, and we had our private jacuzzi. The hotel provided us with breakfast, so we did not need to eat out. Otherwise it would have been difficult to find any breakfast in the neighbourhood because there were only three restaurants in the area and there was no kitchen in the room.
