Hotel Europa

Great location, just within the ‘old town’ and a stone throw from the main Piazza and the famous Arena. The railway station is approx 20 minute walk, and flat pavements (in case you are dragging luggage). The hotel is really nicely appointed, rooms are spotless, and it has some really nice restaurants literally at the front door. The staff were ok, but a smile or two would go a long way, as they always seemed to have the world on their shoulders and not giving customers any sense of being welcome. The breakfasts were super, with a many choices. It’s self service, but doesn’t lack anything for guests. The TV in the room has no channels such as Sky News/CNN etc, but are internet enabled if you want to log onto YouTube etc. In short, great location, well priced, super breakfasts - just a smile or two from the staff would make this a 5 !

I had read reviews before I went and was anxious about accommodation , staff etc This was my first trip to Italy and Verona is certainly a beautiful and historic town to experience a first time trip to this beautiful country On arrival to hotel Europa we were met by the hotel manager .The first room offered was disappointing as the room window was facing a adjoining white wall However the manger changed the room for me very kindly Some reviews pointed out the staff were not friendly I would argue they respect your privacy and are not fluent in English and therefore may appear offish They are professional and efficient The accommodation was very clean and the bed very comfortable The hotel is in the center of Verona very near and walkable to everything I would return and I have recommended to family Thank you hotel Europa for a pleasant stay

I chose this hotel because it is very close to the Verona Arena, I also read positive reviews. The room is small, clean, very positive note no carpet. For those who have allergy problems it is good. Small clean bathroom, well stocked with towels, soap dispenser in the shower, they should also put it on the sink to avoid waste. A little noisy because it is right in the center, many bars but not that annoying. Very kind and helpful staff, I needed to keep a medicine in the fridge and after leaving the room they put it in the fridge until my departure in the afternoon. The price is not cheap but I had an experience in a one star hotel not far away that was a bit disastrous, 190 euros for a double room, I risked falling because when I opened the door the jamb was on the floor and other problems and it was not possible to change rooms because it was full. Here everything was in order, tidy and very clean. I will definitely go back.

The interior Looks a bit outdated but everything was quite well maintained. Very strong shower pressure which is a plus. The room was warm but too dry for the evening. Also the pillow was too soft for me. However considering the location for this price, I can’t complain too much.
I took the advice from the review to skip their breakfast which I am glad I did. We had breakfast right next door at a cafe which was superb and a lot cheaper.
Not much information regarding parking and they charge €27 for on site parking… that’s a bit weirdly overpriced. Nothing outstanding but I still recommend it if you like staying central.

I stayed in the hotel for several days and experienced hospitality and wonderful people. I would recommend this amazing hotel to everyone . Also, the breakfast was delicious. The view from the terrace was amazing . The hotel is located right in the heart of the city.

Hotel Europa in Verona had a perfect location for a city adventure. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. We enjoyed everything about our stay and couldn't ask for a better stop on our trip. We were really happy with this hotel. The only minor issue was that getting into the hotel was a bit tricky due to the many one-way roads, but it wasn't a major problem. All in all, it was a fantastic experience.
