Grand Hyatt Amman

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful 5-star hotel, and I must say it was an absolutely spectacular experience. From the moment I walked through the main door, I was greeted with warm and professional service that left a lasting impression.

The hotel facilities are simply stunning. Every corner is carefully designed and decorated with elegance and taste. The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and equipped with every amenity one could wish for. The bed was so comfortable that I had some of the best nights' sleep I've had in a long time.

The hotel staff deserves special recognition. Their attention to detail and their friendly and helpful attitude made me feel like a truly special guest. They were always willing to provide recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, and activities in the city.

Additionally, the hotel has excellent additional facilities such as a well-equipped gym and a relaxing pool. I was able to maintain my exercise routine during my stay and then unwind in the pool, which was truly rejuvenating.

The hotel's location is also ideal. It is situated in the heart of the city, making it easy to access attractions, renowned shops, and restaurants. Furthermore, the area is safe and peaceful, ensuring a tranquil and enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel, a little out the way from most things, but it's easy to get a taxi/uber. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. It's the usual standard for Hyatt, so few complaints, spa area was nice, sauna, steam room, and hot tub.

Breakfast was nice with a good selections of food to choose from.

They were also offering free arabica coffee and dates, which were nice

I stayed for a long weekend and used the hotel as a base to explore Amman on foot (very doable from here) and Petra.

The location is great for sightseeing and lets you walk everywhere you need.
The rooms are a little more outdated than what I expected from a Grand Hyatt and for the price. Fixtures and furniture was pretty old, same as the bathroom. The view however of the city and blue mosque is very nice.
I absolutely LOVED the breakfast, especially the fresh fruit - incredible Jordanian fruit available. The buffet was great and I do recommend it.
Staff was nice, but especially Waleed Khalil from the concierge desk who went above & beyond trying to help sort out a problem with a transfer to Petra I had. Thank you again for your patience and willingness to help!

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Amman for about a week and had a generally satisfactory experience. The hotel's location is quite convenient, with distinctive architecture across the street and a delightful Spanish restaurant nearby. An added bonus was the availability of taxis at the entrance, which were usually willing to match Uber prices, making local travel quite convenient.

However, there were a few areas that could use some improvement. I noticed that the attention to detail in room cleanliness was not up to par, and I found some remnants from previous guests. No tiles underneath the sink in the two suites I stayed in was surprising and seemed to be a missed detail.

The breakfast area was often chaotic during peak hours, with staff seeming unsure of their roles. I believe enhanced training would be beneficial to improve the overall service quality.

On the positive side, any issues brought to the hotel's attention were addressed promptly and effectively, reflecting their commitment to guest satisfaction.

Overall, my stay at Grand Hyatt Amman was decent. While there's room for improvement, particularly in cleanliness and staff training, the hotel still offers a satisfactory experience with its convenient location and responsive service.

I had one of best dinner ever. Despite that varieties are not so many yet they are very delicious. I enjoyed soup and salad. I like the idea that you pick from a wide variety of meat and chicken pieces and give to the chef to cook the way you prefer. My well done beef tender loin and lamp chops were cooked to perfection.

The repair was obviously done for many years and the wear numbers visible to the naked eye. Otherwise, no complaints.
