Reviews
Would stay here again.
What truly elevated the experience, however, was the warm and welcoming presence of Miss Nu. Her polite and intelligent demeanor immediately made me feel at ease, and her invitation to dine was irresistible. I'm so glad I accepted!
The garden restaurant is not only perfectly situated, but also beautifully furnished and landscaped. Every detail, from the comfortable seating to the lush greenery and carefully chosen decor, contributed to the overall sense of tranquility and elegance. It was a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.
The food was exceptional. I indulged in the Australian meat, which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. As the evening progressed, the restaurant filled with a pleasant buzz of conversation, and the soft strains of music began around six, adding to the already magical ambiance.
This garden restaurant is a true gem in Phnom Penh, a perfect blend of natural beauty, impeccable service, and delectable cuisine. It's a testament to the thoughtful design and the dedication of staff like Miss Nu, who create such a welcoming and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special dining experience.
3.8 stars.
Was given a room on the 5th floor, it looks as though the entire floor has been renovated and refreshed. Not sure if the same can be said about all the floors.
The beds however were pretty broken and sunken in. Breakfast spread was plain and rather underwhelming. Besides that had a pleasant stay.
The hotel's rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. I was particularly impressed by the hotel's attention to detail, from the fresh flowers in the room to the complimentary bottled water.
The hotel's facilities are also top-notch, with a beautiful swimming pool, a well-equipped fitness center, and a relaxing spa. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious Khmer and international cuisine, and the breakfast buffet is a great way to start the day.
What truly made my stay special, however, was the exceptional service provided by the hotel's staff. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful concierge service, every interaction with the staff was friendly, professional, and attentive.
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Cambodiana to anyone visiting Phnom Penh. Its combination of comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and exceptional service make it the perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers.
Rating: 5/5 stars
Price: Reasonable and value-for-money
Location: Central location with stunning views of the Mekong River
Amenities: Swimming pool, fitness center, spa, restaurant, bar
Service: Exceptional and attentive service from friendly and professional staff
Overall: An unforgettable experience in the heart of Phnom Penh.
Inside the room, it was comfortable but unremarkable. The television was outdated but functional, and while there was a bathtub, I found the water heater to be incredibly noisy, making early morning showers a challenge for light sleepers. The lighting was a bit too warm for my preference, but ultimately acceptable.
The hotel did boast a well-equipped gym, though some of the equipment showed signs of wear and tear. Note that the gym closes at 10 PM, which might be inconvenient for late-night fitness enthusiasts.
I stayed during the New Year's period and enjoyed an exceptional all-you-can-eat buffet with an incredible variety of dishes. The presence of an impressive ice sculpture added a unique touch to the festivities.
