2nd time staying at this hotel and the service here was just impeccable. Room was huge AND clean, cleaners took the effort to even tidy up my charging cables and left me a cleaning cloth for my glasses. I had VIP business guests to take care of and was able to entrust the hotel staff and driver, Mr Sanan to ensure a smooth stay for them.
I also had to check out early in the morning to catch a flight and the hotel staff offered to prepare breakfast for my early morning journey - something I have not encountered despite being a frequent traveler.
Sofitel Phnom Penh checks everything off the list - from the staff, service to facilities. I can’t recommend this place enough. A huge thank you to all the staff and I look forward to coming back.

An impeccable stay at Sofitel. To say all of the staff were friendly and helpful would be quite the understatement. We felt right at home. Such a warm and elegant environment, this hotel has the best customer service I’ve experienced.
Great facilities too. Hard court Tennis with private coaching, steam and sauna, excellent weight room, cafe with protein smoothies, large swimming pool, ping pong and squash.
Various restaurants and an amazing lobby bar - Ask for a special cocktail from Mr. Tee ! He’s an incredibly talented mixologist (Highly Recommend!)
The Japanese restaurant was delicious. We had a private traditional style room and were spoiled with the treatment from the manger Ms. Tum! She was lovely and helpful.
Can’t forget to mention the cigar lounge too!
We will miss Sofitel Phnom Penh and look forward to returning soon! 🙏

5 star all the way, no faults we could find.
Staff were sensational, service was excellent and it’s a beautiful property. I'll keep it brief. The rooms are somewhat majestic (In what way or another), You get a lot for what you get. This hotel is your entire trip, it has a message area, pool, gym and even extra land to be used as a park (Nice). But I wouldn't pay to stay 4 nights here, let me clear that out. Even if I have a bunch of money going to be expired, I wouldn't have even glance at it.
You see, this hotel here wants to stand out, the problem is, just the location alone, that's in the deep jungle of buildings. It's squished between Chinatown (Latter crappiness) and a shopping center (Latter greatness), it's also one of the worst places to put a resort there. Could've been a conventional and affordable hotel (Just sayin'). You know, the other 2 hotels in the Chinatown section.
At least, it's mediocre, not horrible but not great, if you even have $300 lying around.
You see, this hotel here wants to stand out, the problem is, just the location alone, that's in the deep jungle of buildings. Inside the hotel, the sofitel is a place with a good atmosphere both inside and out. Quiet and very hygienic. When coming to the hotel and make us enjoy the atmosphere. And also a place that has enough to meet the needs of guests.

Hands down the team at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra were some of the best people working in hospitality I have ever had the fortune of meeting. Always smiling and perpetually finding ways to make our stay better, they really enhanced every aspect of our four night stay. From the bar (thanks for the fun reworking of classic cocktails Thy!) to the reception, spa team and housekeeping. The housekeeping team even cable tied my charging cables! Magnificent.
The hotel itself is fantastic. Some very minor issues like rather noisy air con at night (turned it off without a major issue overnight) but overall the positives far outweighed any negatives. The club millesime was also great with a superb friendly team and tasty snacks at the times offered. We had tea often in there. Milk oolong is superb! English breakfast and biscuits; what’s not to love!?
So overall I cannot recommend more highly. I’ll be coming back with my family one day. To get the kids to explore the kids club, use the pools and play table tennis, squash and outdoor tennis. Make sure you bring your trainers!!

Enjoyed an amazing stay at the Sofitel. Great spacious and clean well maintained room. Great location and very quiet, nice meals and drinks enjoyed. Great helpful service at all times, special mention to Nikkole from the club lounge - his service was fantastic and helpful, it made the stay most enjoyable

This is our second night stay at this lovely hotel and I’ve enjoyed my time here. The room is superb and the grounds immaculately taken care off. The staff are polite and efficient. It’s also in a central location and only about 20 minute drive to Angkor Wat.

Perfection. The staff are all attentive and excellent. They always double check on everything to avoid any problem. Very easy to communicate with them. They are working with the heart. Always with the smile, positive attitude and efficient work. The room itself is very quiet even though the outside road is busy. Clean, well-maintained & fully equiped with 5 star standard. They have this programme about “better sleeping” and they are really serious about it. The bedding items they use are incredibly comfortable.
The hotel ambience is reflecting on the beautiful French-touched. Starting from the lobby, bar & the restaurants, love them all. Two nights stay in this hotel and I’d love to be back soon here! Also, big appreciation to the concierge team & the driver for pickup/transfer from/to the airport for the attention to detail even before I asked for something. Merci beaucoup à tous!

What a great experience! We chose a room with lounge access and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The staff was very attentive and we felt very pampered from the second we arrived. The lounge experience was amazing and the service was very personalized. We loved the live music and Thy made experience even better. I highly recommend staying here.
