STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL!
Although we were told they couldn't reserve parking spots, when we arrived, we were denied access to available spaces because they were supposedly reserved for other clients. We were asked for a €70 deposit (guarantee) per room, despite having paid in advance for all three rooms, without being informed about this in our previous communications. We were advised to park at a nearby mall, where the actual cost was much higher than what was initially stated by the receptionists. Complete lack of professionalism.
A discussion with the manager would have been useful to hear his opinion on what happened. Most likely, just some pathetic excuses. I would like to mention that I can provide the emails to prove what I stated regarding the impossibility of reserving parking and the lack of information about the requested room guarantee.

Interesting, but exactly as I expected, pathetic excuses impersonally signed "the Avalon Hotel & Conferences team". "Congratulations" for the management team. What I want to emphasize is that the procedure for the security deposit IS IN NO WAY A STANDARD PRACTICE. It is used exclusively by hotels with a low level of professionalism, which consider customers as potential thieves/scammers. I recommend that you take inspiration from the operations of real 4-star hotels, which cannot afford to insult their customers with so-called standard practices.
STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

Avoid if you have gluten or other food sensitivies/ intolerances! We stayed there just before New Year and the rooms were great as well as lobby and bar. However, despite them saying they cater for food sensitivities and their dishes were specifically marked gluten free I felt sick after eating breakfast there on the first day. The following day we came late for breakfast and most of the hot food self service was empty with some sausages and bacon remaining. I was mortified to see bacon which was labelled gluten-free being laid on a layer of bread! When I complained to the manager he said the bread is not gluten free but it is at the base of the container so is ok to eat with gluten sensitivies. They clearly know nothing about cross contamination nor gluten sensitivity’s or celiac! Avoid if that is the case!
