Great stay! Nearby all the sites. Clean and modern hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast (€15, depending on your booking). Very walkable area. Near the bus depot, Central Market, and old town. Would stay again.

The location in the middle of the old town was very good and offered excellent connections to the sights. The breakfast was also very tasty and offered a good selection. Unfortunately, the staff were rather unfriendly, which spoiled the stay somewhat. In addition, it was not possible to rent beach towels and there were additional costs for the wellness area that were not included in the price. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Cute modern hotel in a great spot in the old town. Rooms very clean and the staff super friendly and accommodating. I haven't tried their spa services but they looked great and in good prices.

Great location in the centre of the old town, everything is in good walking distance. The room was lovely with a full mini fridge, although it does cost. The breakfast was delicious, great variety with tasty desserts as well.

An honest review from an British point of view. Location is great, noisy on a weekend if you go to bed before midnight. Beds in the room are very low to the ground with pillows that are awful very lumpy. thin duvets which are ideal in the summer. Breakfast is great. You have to book the Spa if you want to use it at an additional fee 18 euro I believe, I tried three times to say it was full? They admit last customer at 7pm but the Spa is open until 9pm. Over all I would compare the hotel to a Travel Lodge in UK certainly not 4 star high standard. Staff need to learn on how to smile it goes a long way for poor service.

Meh, would not recommend. We came in the middle of the day to find out that there was no one at the reception desk at sight. When the receptionist finally came he was looking pissed off and gloomy, and the overall check-in process took more than 10 mins even though we were the only 2 guests in the lobby.
Rooms are small and super-basic. Access both to the pool area and spa is paid, 18 eur per person. The location is good but if you're unlucky your room will face a busy street with loud music.

Nice how the hotel is located close to the city and also very nice breakfast, but all of a sudden the fire alarm were set off out of nowhere, and we were told that someone was vaping/smoking inside. Also we were told very late that the water in the shower we’re going to be cold all from 10 pm to 10 am (10-22) but would eventually come back, which it never did, so we had to shower in cold water all trough our staying. The staff were nice to offer us free shower at the spa area, but it’s a little hassle to take all our stuff downstairs just to shower in a little hot water. Also you HAVE to face the shower head away from the door, unless you want a huge puddle all over the bathroom floor. And I suggest you be careful with the sound barrier, because the walls is so thin, we could hear our drunk neighbour talking very loud in the middle of the night, as well as a group of ladies singing.

Located on the outer part of the old town, Wellton Centrum Hotel is the perfect location for those wanting to explore Riga’s old town. It’s clean and has wonderful facilities. The staff are helpful and can also support with ordering taxis if necessary.

We had booked double room with united bed, since we had a 3 year old with us. Non smoking naturally and without the breakfast. When arriving to hotel we got ”smoked” room, with two separate beds. Bonus in this room was someones old socks under the bed.
After complaining we got a new room with one big bed + sofa for the kid. Also staff promised to give breakfast to room since the extra hassle with luggage. We also paid 20€ extra for upgrade since the room was a tad bigger. At this point it was nice ly handled, although the extra payment is a bit questionnable. Bonus bit was an old dogs bone found from the new room. Maybe that was worth the 20’r.
Well, next morning the same staff member denied the fact that he had promised the breakfast. No apologies, just a rude info, that we have to pay more. We did not, fortunately, since the serving looked horrendous.
All in all, I would avoid this place like a plague. I have been staying in various places, a bunk bed hostels to Sheratons and have never felt the same kind of rudeness towards clients. That is a shame, since the building is quite nice, though a bit outdated.
