Ursulino Valletta in Valetta

We had a great 3 nights stay here! The breakfast was delicious, the selection of tea was great. The staff was great, very welcoming. We especially appreciated the complimentary wine, water, teas and fruit. Will come back soon!

We stayed for 3 nights; the hotel is ideally situated near the seafront & St George’s Sq (3 minutes walk to either). Very clean, modern, mini bar, tea & coffee-making facilities, cordial staff, and an amazing terrace where you can enjoy the bottle of wine they give you gratis on arrival. I must say that all the staff there, whatever they are paid, all deserve a pay rise (especially Yitka at reception & the lady in charge of breakfast who made my eggs).

We stayed here over a long weekend, it was a pleasant experience, the hotel is in the old city center of Valletta, near all the main spots, including the Gozo fast ferry terminal.
The rooms have high ceilings, spacious, comfortable beds, and are very clean. The breakfast was amazing, quality products, good coffee and the roof terrace is perfect to have an idea of the city center. The staff was pleasant and nice. I appreciated a lot the complementary wine and the water offered.
Definitely it was a perfect place to discover Valetta.

All I can say is I wish I could have stayed here longer. Booked this hotel on my last night in Malta to stay close to the airport coming from Gozo. Absolutely beautiful hotel!

I loved the attention to details in the room itself. I booked the penthouse for 3 guests, and while it’s not a big deal for some, most of the time, hotels miss the 3 guests part and only give 2 of everything, but this hotel did not miss it! From the toiletries to the robes, to the slippers, to the breakfast basket, it was complete. Entering the hotel room felt like I was entering a spa because of whatever scent they’re using for their detergent, hand wash soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. I loved that everytime I left the hotel, the beautiful scent of it lingered wherever I went.

The penthouse had three floors — ground (living/bed room), second (kitchen), and third (terrace with indoor & outdoor seating areas). One thing to keep in mind is that the only way up is through a set of stairs that have glass flooring, so if you are afraid of heights, this might be a bit scary for you. For me, it was beautiful.

The top floor was perfect for if you wanna lounge with people who hate the heat and people who love the heat. There’s AC in the indoor lounge seating area. While outside, there are two sun beds perfect for midday tanning especially in the Malta heat. By chance, I checked in on a public holiday (Victory Day) and got to see a good view of the cannon firing and fireworks right at the terrace during the day and night. It was beautiful! Aside from the terrace, the ground floor of the penthouse has one of those European balconies where it gives a picturesque view of the streets.

Location wise, also perfect. This is in a quiet side street. Everything was walking distance. Republic St. and Merchant St. were only a few blocks away while on the opposite direction is the port area.

The hotel staff were pleasant. I had to check out at 3 AM for my flight, and they prepared the breakfast basket early to accomodate for this.

I wish I could have stayed here longer.

Amazing hotel in Valletta. It’s very clean and the rooms are a good size. Location is perfect. The hotel managers Katya and Jitka are friendly and so lovely. The staff, Marimel, Karina, Mikaella and Elie are wonderful. The best breakfast so far has been here. Delicious fresh fruit and vegetables, cereals, breads and eggs cooked however you like. Can’t recommend enough.

Really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were a great size. Fairly quiet which was nice. Great spot a street or two away from everything. The young lady who checked us in was lovely. Great roof top area and breakfast included that we could have up there. Would recommend.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and without a doubt enjoyed our stay. From the start, the ladies that greeted us were friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast that is provided in the morning was ideal for our breakfast needs and the personnel that were preparing/serving were delightful. The location of the hotel was ideal for us, it provided us with a great central point to get around Valleta. Another nice hotel feature is the top deck, which provides an ideal location to enjoy wine at one's leisure and take it the scenic views. As mentioned before, the ladies behind the reception desk also provided us with useful information on visiting Gozo, Mdina, and other key points of interest while visiting Valleta. This hotel is certainly one we would stay at again and one that we would recommend.

This place was wonderful. starting from the location, it was near the center of the city and the co-cathedral. The premises and the entire building was very well taken care off, nothing was broken and everything smelled wonderfully. The biggest asset of the hotel though is the staff that mans it. everyone, starting from the reception ladies to the cleaning team and breakfast preparation team/waitresses was very kind, smiling and willing to offer both services and information. Everyone was well trained, professional and polite. I will be recommending this hotel to friends that might be visiting Valletta, and i will certainly have this in my bucket list for next time

The location is great, but the facilities in the room are average. I can't understand the paintings hanging in the corridor, which is a bit out of line with what Chinese people can accept. But the location is really great

We have spent an awesome time in Ursulino Valletta from 17.12.2023 to 23.12.2023, located in beautiful old town and harbour. Very quite and cozy hotel, pleasant and polite staff and management, best breakfast service and stunning view from 24h open roof terrace. Best for families and seniors!
