B&B HOTEL Krakow Centrum

i really loved to stay here. the room was spacious and it was located in the center of the city, which connects the downtown, main train station (krakow glowny) and wieliszka salt mine with direct lines.

also, when i booked the room with free cancellation option and pay at hotel option, i was anxious about being cancelled or paid no show fee by the hotel if i check in too late.

because of whether the flight operated by LOT airlines could be cancelled all of a sudden based on many negative reviews and a great delay of polish trains, i started to feel worried about this but hopefully everything was on time and i could check in at about 8 pm that i had notified my estimated arrival time to the staff.

every single staff in the hotel was very kind and polite and i especially would like to praise the male receptionist with long ponytail hair with beard, because he was exceptionally helpful and kind with a grin smile. 😄😄

breakfast is quite expensive comparing to other hotels but the food offered was very delicious so i finished a few plates with diverse options. 😆

also, i personally consider if there are some stairs at the main entrance because of my heavy suitcase and as you see the picture i am attaching, no stairs and the door is automatically opens and 24 hours of reception is well managed so you can get some help at any time. 👍👍👍👍👍

but i wish there is a small fridge in the room and trash can so that i can throw some trash away separately.

anyway, i would like to stay there once more if i have a chance to visit krakow again 😉

This hotel is very nice and would be a good choice. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms nice, everything was clean. It didn’t get a 5 star for a few reasons which I think could really make or break someone’s choice. Their air conditioning was not great, I brought it up at the front desk and it was slightly better when I went up that night but both nights I was woken by being too hot. It just didn’t cool the room, occasionally you could feel it hit your legs if you didn’t have any cover on but after a week of no ac I was really looking forward to being comfortable at night. And the windows barely opened for safety reasons so that wasn’t really an option either. The next is the shower, the size is okay for Europe but there was no where to put the shower head so you had to hold it the whole time which was a huge downfall to me, the spots you would normally put it were too small to fit the shower head. This seems like a silly error and an easy fix not sure why it hasn’t been taken care of. Lastly the location is good not amazing. Right out front you do have a ton of public transport stops which is super helpful and since it is a bit of a walk to the old town square. That being said it’s not a bad walk it was just august so overly hot, I couldn’t see this bothering me much in a cooler month. There are also lots of scooters out front but be careful you have to park them in certain areas and there isn’t always one where you are going. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment but it was €12.50 and there is a lovely bakery right across the street where I got two large pastries and coffee for £5 so there are other options. The little store came in handy and there’s a small 24/7 convenience store in the next building over.

It is a very good hotel located in the centre of Krakow. Just 15 minutes away on foot from Wavel castle. It is also close to Kazimerz. You can enjoy the walking by the river just in five minutes. Parking option is super and very secure. Room is comfortable. WiFi is very good. People are very friendly and helpful.

Good: The hotel is clean, well-located, quiet and the staff is attentive. The rooms are small but meet the needs for a few days. The price is also very good. There is a tram station in front of the hotel, from where you can go anywhere in the city. And the bus that goes to and comes from the airport stops in front of the hotel.
Not so good: The mattress is not the most comfortable, but the pillows are very good. The shower area is very tight, it could be better configured. And we missed having a hand towel in the bathroom, we even asked at reception, but they said that the hotel doesn't provide hand towels, which I've never seen in any hotel.

Good value hotel, very close to the Exhibition Centre that is just across the road. Rooms are clean and have all you need, just a little bit spartan. The breakfast is very good and there is a wide choice of cheese, meat and other breakfast options (hot and cold). Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Small but smartly designed room. Clean, warm and comfortable. There was no problem to get extra pillows and duvet. Very nice hotel staff.
