100 SGD per day extra charge for the 3rd person. Can hardly understand the rationale behind that for one family with one kid's accomodation without breakfast. The total cost then can make much more choices outside.

I had a fantastic stay at Five/6 Hotel Splendour in Singapore! The hotel is a true gem for budget travelers, offering incredible value for money. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and the air conditioning was top-notch, keeping me cool and comfortable throughout my stay. The free mini bar with complimentary drinks and snacks was a delightful bonus, adding a touch of luxury to the experience. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the lobby staff provided impeccable service, friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile.
While the hotel lacks facilities like a pool, gym, or on-site dining, and no food is included, the vibrant Geylang area more than makes up for it with countless nearby eateries offering delicious local dishes. For anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and well-serviced stay in Singapore, Five/6 Hotel Splendour is a fantastic choice. I’d definitely return for another splendid stay. Ps: I was so tempted to finish their entire “Rosemary and Mint” shower gel. 🧼

This is my second time staying in this hotel,the previous experience was quite good thus I chose it again. However, there were a few unhappy things this time round.
Firstly, I requested a room away from the lift when booking,but was given a room just beside the lift. It's still acceptable, because I only booked it for one night;the staff who checked-in for us was sweet and polite as well. I guessed she may overlook my request or there was no other room left. Therefore,I just stayed in the room .Subsequently,I found the water heater was not working well. The shower water was a bit cold. I was still not very disappointed so far. I think the water temperature was still fine to wash the body just not the hair. I can wash my hair the next day when I reach home.
The thing that really made me feel angry was the bad attitude of the counter staff who I attended for checking out. A young female lady was at the counter when I went there to check out the next morning.I passed the room cards to her,then she asked for the deposit receipt after checking the record from the computer. I passed it to her immediately. She passed me back the paper and said "sign" with the finger pointing the signing area. I knew it was to acknowledge the hotel returned the cash deposit. There was a guy who passed the cards to her then he left while I was signing the form. I was about to hand the deposit receipt to her but she went out of the counter in a rush.So I held the paper to wait for her to come back. She came back with the guy and told him to wait for the deposit. She took back the paper from me and said"wait at the side"with a cold tone and no eye contact at all. She then shifted to another counter station with the guy starting to explain about the deposit and checkout process. I waited for a few minutes quietly. But she continued to talk to the same guy and seemed like was not about to attend to me. I asked a male staff (he was the staff who attended to me during my last stay with a good attitude) who was near to me "Am I waiting for her to attend to me, is it?". The female staff heard my voice and finally gave me an eye contact and explanation"yes, the housekeeper is checking the room!" She then returned my deposit after her words.
I may still choose this hotel in future as it is clean and the facilities are good. But I will try to avoid attending to the same counter staff. I spent money to stay in a hotel to enjoy my weekends but her bad attitude ruined my good mood.

The toilet paper roll seemed old and had an odor.
The pillow was a bit too thick for comfortable neck support.
Aside from these two issues, it was a good place for a short stay overall."

I was grateful for the lady at the reception for helping me to pay cash for the taxi as the grab driver refused to use the charge facility on my credit card . The hotel room was comfortable and spacious and also clean .
Nice bathroom and clean towels daily. Location is a bit out of the way although many buses but what we saved in room rate costs us in taxi to and from town as after a long day in sun and walking around last thing one wants to do is use bus or the 10-15 minute walk from the train station .

The area great for budget travellers as many cheap and actually many cheap eating stop points . I had a dosa one morning was delicious and very reasonable prices compared to downtown .

We had a nice stay in this hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the area was quiet. Just 10 minutes from the green MRT line.

room is quite spacious and the staff is friendly. tv channels are quite good too. though its location is quite nestled in geylang its quite quiet

this is clean enough. i enjoyed to stay here. location is convenient. you will surely like it. happy stay

The rooms are quite spacious compared to other hotels of the same level. The location is quiet, but a little far from the culinary center.
