Hotel 81 Premier Star in Singapore

The front desk staff were welcoming when I checked in, and the check-in process was smooth. When I first entered the room, I noticed it wasn't very big, but since I was only staying one night, I didn't mind, as long as it was clean.

In the evening, there were restaurants within walking distance at the intersection, but I later realized that directly opposite the hotel was quite a bustling *** area. There were hardly any locals around, mostly foreign workers, which made me feel generally unsafe, so I didn't dare explore much nearby.

When I returned to the room to rest, I was shocked to find socks worn by a previous guest on the vanity chair. It was unbelievable; I'm not sure if the cleaning staff missed it or simply didn't notice.

Even worse, when I tried to sleep in the middle of the night, I discovered the pillow had a distinct smell left by someone else, which was absolutely disgusting. I couldn't fall asleep at all.

I have never encountered such a poor accommodation experience with such terrible hygiene. A small room is acceptable, but basic cleanliness and hygiene are an absolute bottom line, and this was simply unacceptable.
