Convenient location. Cozy atmosphere

Perfect hotel for a short break in Singapore. Right in the middle of Orchard Road, its location over the Orchard Central mall makes it ideal for shoppers but if, like me, you're not fussed about shopping, then its position right next to the Somerset metro station makes it a great base for exploring the city - all the places you want to go are just a few stops away.
TOP TIP: If you're here as a tourist then the tourist transport pass has to be one of your first purchases. Singapore has one one of the best subway systems in world and it makes it a breeze to get around.
What's to like?
Friendly, helpful staff; clean, well equipped rooms, amazing views, the roof garden pool and bar makes it stand out from the rest and, did I mention the location?
What's not to like?
Not a lot to be honest. We went there on a package with Luxury Escapes, the package had a number of bonus extras (like a room upgrade) that were included 'subject to availability' We were a little miffed that none of them happened to be available when we got there. The only other gripe was that, as other reviewers have commented, the check-in process could be a lot slicker.

Absolutely loved our stay at JEN Orchard Gateway! My wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon and really enjoyed it. The room was really modern and spacious, the location was great with a train station and bus stops right next door to get pretty much anywhere, and the staff were really nice.

Our only issues were that it was a little difficult to find at first. It's kind of within the shopping centre, but also not so it took us a while to find the right spot. Additionally the bathroom is kind of open plan. The toilet is separate with its own door, and the shower too, but the bathroom itself is connected to the main room. Ideally you'd have your own separate bathroom. This wasn't really a problem, but something worth mentioning.

Highly recommend the rooftop pool and bar. It was spectacular and had amazing views!!!

3 night stay at the Jen Singapore with 4 adults and 2 children (14,12)

From start to finish this hotel was absolutely perfect. The beds are super comfortable, the rooms are clean and tidy and the facilities are perfect.

The rooftop pool was incredible and allowed the kids and adults to have a rest bite from all the tourist activities. The view in the evening on the rooftop is incredible.

Breakfast was unreal. A huge spread to suit a variety of nationalities and the most amazing premium smoked salmon everyday which made me feel a little in heaven.

I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others.

+ Beautiful pool n location is great

Excellent, modern hotel, comfortable rooms, a wide variety of dishes for breakfast and dinner (both buffet and à la carte options available). Separately, we should note the luxurious rooftop swimming pool with a magnificent view of the city. It is divided into two parts of equal size - a children's part (90 cm) and a deeper part for adults. For the first time I see a really large pool for children, and not a small corner. DJs play during the day, maintaining a great atmosphere for relaxation. The hotel is located in the same building as a shopping center and metro station; just go down a few levels and you can go anywhere in the city. The Sentosa Express is just 5 metro stops away, and Marina Bay is 4. The hotel's location is just perfect!

Rooms are tiny and there is no room division between the bathroom and actual bedroom. But the staff are extremely friendly and sooo helpful. Top notch customer service. Also, great location. Right in the middle of shopping malls. Easy access to public transportation like bus, mrt, and taxis. And the breakfast buffet is amazing. Best breakfast buffet in any hotel I've ever stayed in. Great place to stay for tourists on their 1st visit to Singapore. The only 2 reasons I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the high price and relatively smaller rooms compared to other hotels in the area. And not having a separate bathroom doesn't help.
