Hotel Mi Bencoolen

We had a great stay, rooms are comfortable and rather spacious, cleaning every day, the hotel has a very nice swimming pool, it is also very well located near the subway which is located almost at the foot of the hotel at 30 seconds of walking. The hotel is also very well located for visiting several tourist sites by foot.

I spent two nights at the Mi Hotel Bencoolen, and this is my honest review.

The accommodation was alright; I felt slightly duped because it appeared larger on the booking app, but on the plus side, everything was tidy and well-organized.

The service is excellent, the staff is very kind, I was able to request an early check-in at 2 PM with ease, and it's great that I could use a free iron and ironing board.
They also provided me with the after-service, which allowed me to store my luggage after checking out but before my flight.

The location is excellent; the MRT is only a short walk away (less than 100 metres), and the taxi and bus stops are right outside the hotel. A mosque is close by the hotel, which is convenient for Muslims, and 7-Eleven is easily accessible.

Overall, the purchase was worthwhile. I'd love to stay at Mi Hotel once more in the future.

There are staff welcoming you as you enter the hotel, and this is nice. The reception staff too are very welcoming. We didn't ask for our room to be cleaned for the first 3 nights, but when we did request a room clean we were disappointed with the result. My daughter's hair was brushed in the morning and there was a little hair on the floor, and it was still there when we returned late in the afternoon after it had been cleaned. Not a major problem for us, but I think there's only one guy cleaning all the rooms on one floor, and maybe he's just over-worked.
I also accidentally left a few charging cables in the room, and the hotel have been in contact and will keep them safe for me.

The front desk staff worked fast, to the point, and were very pleasant. The rooms are small but clean and neat. The walls were thin and I could hear the neighbors talking loudly, which was a bit of a negative, but other than that it was very nice. I had to return home on a night flight, but even after checking out, I was able to take a shower to clean my body, which was covered in sweat from all the walking I had done during the day. I would definitely stay there again next time.

The staff is amazing. Very friendly and happy to support with anything we needed. The rooms are clean (no carpet - big plus!!!) and had all what we needed. The 14m2 for a Superior Double Room were indeed a little small, but we new that before. So, all good! It would be great if the hairdryer could be plugged in in the bathroom, and not only in the bedroom.

Great location, close to 2 MRT stops, located near the university. Small but clean rooms. Great pool. Excellent service. My departing flight was not until 10 PM and they allowed me to use the pool & a shower room for the day of check out! Would definitely stay again

The hotel room was small but functional (from our standpoint) - we were only staying for less than 24 hours.
After some confusion initially when the girl at the front desk could not find our reservation on the system, the staff were polite and helpful. The bathroom only had two bath towels (no hand towels) which is something you might want to look at. Apart from that, everything else worked and our stay went according to plan. The hotel itself is located near to a lot of restaurants and food markets/hawker centres which is helpful.

This hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The MRT station and a bus stop are just a few steps away. I was travelling solo and the room size was fine. I was glad to have a safe space where it was very easy to come and go. The bed was very comfy and the air conditioning was great for a good nights sleep.
Sounds from the room next door and the hallway were quite loud at night so I used ear buds and was fine. It was great to leave my bags at the hotel for another day of sightseeing as I had a midnight flight. The desk staff kindly offered me a shower room before I left for the airport.

Our stay at Hotel Mi was very comfortable, the room is small but with everything you need and it was located in an excellent area. There was a complex about 5 minutes away filled with Vegetarian and Vegan food options which was excellent and most tourist destinations are a short walk or metro ride away. The pool area is also gorgeous

Cleanliness, courtesy and strategic position. We spent a couple of nights in this cozy hotel: the room was modest in size but cared for in every detail. The swimming pool is particularly welcome. Recommended.
