Cleanliness is disappointing. The carpet is old and musky, you can even see the wooden tiles underneath, can't walk on it with barefoot. The facilities are obviously used and old, the hair dryer produces loud noise hence I didn't use it at all. The service is quite ok, they have a 24 hrs front desk.
Nearby have a food court which is quite convenient. If you don't mind their carpet and room, you can try to stay for a night.

Great experience booking with Navin from reception, he was very clear and knowledgable, and I would say his service standard surpasses those at some 5 star hotels. Give this man a raise!!

The hotel is located in a very convenient location, less than 5 mins walk from the station. It was far away enough from the noise as well.

The hotel is near Havelock station just 3mins. away. There's hawkers downstairs, Tiong Bahru Market and 7/11 2 mins. away.
The building is a bit old and the carpets are old too but the room is clean, we have a huge window, a fridge, 3 bottled waters etc. the room is huge and the toilet & bath is also huge. The water pressure is so strong and the a/c is really cold. We had a great stay! Thank you.

Great location – just a short walk to Havelock MRT station, with food options right downstairs and Tiong Bahru Market within walking distance. The bed and sheets were very comfortable, and towels and toothbrushes were provided, which was a nice touch. The hotel is a bit old, especially the bathroom, which didn’t look very clean due to its age, but overall still acceptable. The front desk staff were also very friendly and allowed us to check in early to leave our luggage.

The hotel is budget-friendly and up to my expectations! The room is also a bit more spacious (with view) when compared to other hotels within the same price range. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel and were very disappointed. The bedspread was dirty, there was mold in the bathroom, and the mirror was scratched. There was no safe in the room. Only one towel per person was provided, which was very inconvenient. There were holes in the walls, giving the room a neglected feel. One of the lights wouldn’t turn off and stayed on all night, making it hard to sleep. Worst of all, the exhaust fan motor from a neighboring room was located in our room, causing constant noise 24/7. We could also hear the sound of drainage from other rooms. The metro station is quite far to walk. I will definitely choose a different hotel next time.

Stayed at New Cape Inn recently and had a really good experience. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to Havelock MRT and also close to Tiong Bahru. There are plenty of nearby stores and eateries for breakfast and local food. The room was clean, comfortable, and affordable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and budget-friendly place to stay in Singapore!
