This place is a gem. Its amazing location, right by the train station in a lively neighborhood, ensures convenient commuting and ample exploration opportunities. While the hotel bears the charm of age, it carries a fascinating history. The hospitality is exceptional, being a legacy of a fourth-generation family-run establishment committed to preserving its heritage. Engaging with the delightful owners added a special touch to my stay. Despite its proximity to a busy highway, the well-insulated double-paned windows effectively minimize any disturbance. A solid 10/10 experience; I'm looking forward to returning.

What a spot. Couldn’t recommend this place any more.
Location, location, location.
Right next to the train station for easy commuting as well as a bustling neighbourhood, with plenty of walking around to do.
The hotel it’sself is fairly old but with all that, comes a lot of history.
The hospitality of this hotel is amazing, fourth-generation family run hotel, trying to keep the history alive.
Spent a good time talking to the owners who were lovely.
It does happen to fall next to a highway which is somewhat busy, but very manageable with the double panelling windows. 10/10 will be back

Excellent Hotel, great location( walking distance from BTS station and sathorn pier(boat jetty) , such a warm hospitality..if planning to visit Bangkok, would definitely recommend this place

I stayed at "The Myth" in March 2023. I was in Bangkok for a business trip but also spent two weekends exploring the city.
The location of the hotel is great: just a few steps from Saphan Taksin BTS station. There's a mall 200m away, ATMs and 7-Elevens, as well coffee shops and street food. I preferred this location to Asok and NaNa where some of my colleagues were staying.
The hotel itself is an historic building which has been fully refurbished, with taste and style. The room was large and comfortable and clean, and had a fridge, a/c and wifi.
The hotel is really beautiful and historic. Breakfast is served in the courtyard and is wonderful. Plenty, varied and tasty. Most of the greens and fruits are grown in that yard by the owners.
If you arrive at any time but the middle of the night, you might think (I did!) that it would be very noisy, because the hotel is right in front of the BTS and car elevated railway/road, but during the night it's way quieter and it didn't bother me at all.
If you prefer soulless opulence, try any of the international chains of hotels. But if you like charm and taste, to interact with helpful and passionate local people and ... save a few bucks... give it a try!
I often say that I liked a place and would visit again as a compliment only, but here I really mean it! See you on my next trip!

Very close to Sathorn pier and bts. Staff is very kind and room are clean. Highly recommended!

Good hotel with friendly staff and nice manager. Close to the BTS line and river port. The rooms are clean. Beautiful old building. Daily room service. Good wifi. A nice place to stay.

Warm and cozy in the historical building yet renovated. A/C and hot water shower
Breakfast was good. All members are nice and support while we are stay at the hotel.
Nearby the hotel is BTS Taksin, boat pier to other places on Chaopraya river, The grand palace, Tha pra-arthit ( near by Khaosan ) or Asiatique. Also China town.

She is such a wonderful lady, with a beautiful, honest smile on her face at all times.
I guarantee she will make your day beautiful, if you see her in the morning. she was always willing to help filled with kindness. I was there for 4 nights with my parents, during our stay she treated my parents in wonderfully. My parents are very happy with her and other staff’s services,m. They all are wonderful, my parents would like to visit your hotel again.

Very good location just minutes from Sapan Thaksin BTS n the pier that leads to Asiatique n Iconsiam. In the old part of Bangkok with its unique attractions n good eateries — u can take a walk along Charoen Krung Rd to explore. Accommodation was very good — spacious, comfortable and well kept room; good choices of breakfast; friendliest people who own n manage the place. Step out the door to your left is the best massage place I’ve experienced, and to your right is a small cosy eating place for delicious Thai food. Much has been said of the noise from the main road, but we weren’t conscious of it. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

Very nice staff and great service. The view is not the most appealing and there is a lot of noise at night. If it wasn't because of the jet lag it would have been difficult to sleep
