Reviews
2. Many destitute sleeping outside the hotel, whole area smells like piss
3. Cockroaches at the breakfast venue and outside the chinese restaurant
4. I asked the front desk staff for an extra room card, I even mentioned that I am ok to place a deposit or pay for the card they said “no but we can open your room door.”
5. Housekeepers kept barging into the room whenever we were in the room, no sense of privacy
6. Room service food is horrible, I have been getting grab food instead:
7. The only good thing about this place is the convenience to tourist attractions such as Wat Arun and The Grand Palace.

Save yourself your money and the stress.
Go elsewhere.
This place is an illusion both in the photos and the real when you arrive.
Enough said.
Hard to communicate because of language barriers and they are mostly disinterested to listen to any query and zero motivation to help their guest
There’s absolutely no amenities given just the bare bone minimum of what you would expect from a motel.
We were only given 2 toothbrushes, shower caps, cotton swabs, and a small all in one body and hair wash.
There’s a mini fridge with absolutely nothing in it; a kettle and 4 cups with nothing to drink.
As for the service, because of the fact that our flight arrives early in the morning at 5am; I wanted to be vigilant and be able to have a place to crash and rest up so I emailed about a possible early check in; but sadly was never given a reply back.
Upon arrival, the ladies at the check in counter weren’t exactly rude; but definitely wasn’t the most friendliest or welcoming nor was it the most helpful.
If I ever want the same type of service, I would be better off getting a hostel or a bed and breakfast which would’ve costed me the same amount of price if not less than what I’ve paid here.
Lastly because of the hotels location in old town, I do understand the old rustic vibe; but with the lack amenities; this 4 star hotel is giving more of a creepy haunted hotel more than a luxury kid friendly hotel as it is advertised.
The food is good for breakfast, though the coffee is thick, bitter and strong. I didn't try the tea because it was as dark as the coffee. I didn't try the coffee shop pastries though they looked good.
The location is good at an axis of several major streets, but through no fault of the hotel, there are many vagrants along the streets of the hotel. Some have some blankets out to sell wares but many are just passing time. Unlike in America they don't beg for cash as you walk by, but there are abandoned buildings that don't seem to be getting worked on and it's not a great neighborhood. Khao San road is less than a ten minute walk away.
