Cosy hotel in Karon beach. A 5-minute walk are numerous restaurants, souvenir benches and shops. The hotel can be recommended for any category of tourists.

Location: 50 km from the airport, Phuket is 9 km from Patong beach, in the Northern part of Karon beach, just across the road from the sea, 500 m from the beach.
The Lagoon consists of six 3-storey buildings, Terrace – one 9-storey building, Villas (the cabanas) – nineteen 1-storey villas.
The hotel has 335 rooms.
Total area: 49 m2 600.
Beach: public sandy beach, 500 m from the hotel (2 coastline). Between the hotel and the beach road runs. Umbrellas, chairs - for a fee.

The room was clean. The bathroom was small. There was no air conditioner. The ceiling between the bathroom and the bedroom were connected. The bed sheets were old and hard.

Excellent four, after renovation!
The room is spacious, we booked 2 queen size beds.
Clean, comfortable, everything you need is there.
Cleaning every day, no complaints.
3 swimming pools, good breakfasts.
The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance.
Many wrote about the construction nearby, yes there is, but it does not cause discomfort.
It seems that after the end of construction for such a hotel, the prices will clearly become higher, the level of the hotel is good.
We will definitely be ready to come back again!

It says Centara. I am already impressed. The room is clean, the pillows are soft, and I slept comfortably. All the staff provided excellent service. There are many food options. Only 5% are Thais and the rest are foreigners. I will definitely come back to stay here again.

A Great Family-Friendly Stay!
We had a fantastic week at this resort! It's perfect for families—our 2-year-old absolutely loved the kids' pool and kids' club. The atmosphere was welcoming, and there were plenty of activities to keep both kids and adults entertained. Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway!

A decent hotel that has undergone big renovation recently.. they said it took almost 2 years to do the overhaul renovation though there are still hits and misses as pristine it is not. Hits - rather new and modern looking. Pretty sumptuously buffet breakfast with smiling service staff although I wish they will brush up on their command of their English language for ease of effective communication.
Misses:
The elevator is old and not renovated. Well the guest room which I stayed in is decent with big floor to ceiling windows on both sides with mountain and a far away ocean view, the bathroom is not the most practical. Furnishing and fixtures are also of sub-par quality.
Location wise this comes down to personnel preferences. It’s tucked away inside a very busy chaotic, old street filled with shops, restaurants and bars. Whilst is rather convenient in that regard, I personally prefer to stay somewhere in a far less busy and bustling street. Especially when the neighbourhood is rather hideous looking filled with old ugly buildings and even uglier and mind boggling is the overhead wires / cables running across the buildings. What an eye sore for seekers of idyllic vacation.
I will rather choose to stay in a neighbour hood such as Kata Noi or Nai Harn Beach. Or at least on the promenade facing ocean side of the Karon away from the maddening crowds and many hideous surrounding sights. Thus, alas the location and neighbourhood of Centara Karon for me was def the least desirable part of my entire stay this time in Phuket.

We loved the kids pool and all the kids activities. The staff made sure we stayed comfortable despite the bad smell coming from the bathroom. Overall great hotel for families
