Aurico Kata Resort & Spa - SHA Extra Plus

I recently stayed at Aurico Hotel for the second time, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly, always going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We encountered a poor WiFi connection, and they promptly installed a different router in our room to ensure we were connected—such a thoughtful gesture.

The rooms and amenities are impeccably clean, and the food quality is fantastic. Room service truly cares about your needs, making dining in a delightful experience. We have no regrets about returning to Aurico Hotel. Highly recommended!

The room was smaller than I thought. I am very satisfied with the staff service and pool bar. I ordered room service at the pool and was satisfied with everything. It is a hotel that is satisfactory for the price. It would be nice if there was a massage shop inside the hotel.

A beautifully themed resort with fantastic, helpful staff. The pool is gigantic and the swim-up bar was a treat. A special shout-out goes to the barman, who went above and beyond for us by organising a quiet and romantic dinner by the pool.

Breakfast options are varied, with food there to cater to a wide range of cultures. Some foods seemed to vary in quality depending on the day i.e. chicken sausages would either be boiled hot-dog style or thick and grilled, seemingly at random.

The hotel resident cats were an unexpected and delightful treat. The showers seemed to fluctuate between hot and cold quite randomly, however it was a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. I understand they were carrying out works on the pipes during our stay.

I would highly recommend staying at Aurico and wouldn't hesitate to return there in the future

My husband and I spent one week of our 2 weeks baby moon in this hotel and we had a great experience here.
The staff is very professional, kind and friendly and they make sure that you have a great experience in your stay.
The hotel is beautiful, looks fresh and it has a great swimming pool. We had a room with a balcony to the pool and it was really nice to jump into the pool directly from it.
The gym is also nice and has a good variety of equipments that make you able to have a decent work out using what they have there.
The breakfast was very delicious, they had many options for both Western and Asian cuisine, fresh fruits and the best omelets made for you right away.
We also ordered food from their restaurant for lunch or dinner sometimes and it was quite good.
The location is great, it has a walking distance to both Kata and Karon beach as well to lots of restaurants and shops in the area.
The reason I am giving 4 stars is because they only offer one key to the room and the TV in the room is very small and has no access to Netflix or YouTube like most of hotels do, so we missed that sometimes when we just wanted to have a cozy time and watch something from our room.
Anyway, we would definitely be back here as this hotel made us feel really welcome and relaxed.

Good hotel, and very good value. The hotel itself is not overtly fancy, however it does have all the touches a good hotel gives. Service was always good, with staff always tending to you quickly. Very close to Kata beach, but would be a long walk. Still think staying in Patong is better. The pool is amazing, and massive. The breakfast was average, no halal catering either. The room was decent, but nothing special. Bed was very comfortable, however the room itself is quite cramped in my opinion. The bathroom has this weird style lock that was more of an annoyance than smart looking. The shower were lukewarm when on maximum setting.

This hotel is gorgeous! We got the swim out room which was completely worth it and rooms are pretty updated and spacious. The breakfast was included in our booking and they had a good range of options with American and asian food. We did get charged for a glass that accidentally broke in the room so just be careful! The hotel is in walking distance of lots of food spots and close to the Kata Night Market. We also loved the adorable hotel cats and tried to find them each day! We would definitely stay again!

It was my first time in Thailand and I think we picked the perfect place for it. The resort had a really plentiful breakfast which varied from day to day. I also loved the pool, it always had parts where it was shaded so my white butt was not sunburnt. Literally 2 minutes of walk from the resort there are two amazing sea food restaurants and the night market is also super close.

Kata beach was 10-15 minutes away, it was very heat-dependent how fast we were.

7-Eleven is walking distance as well, and there is more than one.

The people at the resort were very friendly and professional, and very speedy responding to our requests. (extra towels, additional water, coat hangers, toilet paper, etc)

The room was really clean and spacious. Check-in, check-out was a breeze. We asked for an extra key card, just in case which was promptly provided after a 300 baht deposit. When checking out they quickly just took a look at the state of the room and all was well.

They also had a pool bar, which was awesome!

We haven't had the chance to try out the gym, but they have one!

All in all I heavily recommend this place 10/10!

Good hotel with good sized clean rooms. Air conditioning is good - the only reason I didn’t give it a higher rating is because the hot water didn’t work throughout our stay. They have a lovely pool with a pool bar and a very good breakfast with great Asian and western options. The location is good with lots of shops , bars and restaurants in a 1 km radius around the hotel and the beach is about a 600-700 meter walk and is a very nice beach. Staff are polite and friendly though not the best I’ve encountered. Overall decent value for money

+ Great location, very good and generous breakfasts. Personal is friendly and always helpful. Nice and clean, wonderful inner yard and pool.
