The story about the fact that there is no duty-free at the Phuket airport is generally fantastic, they will take you to a huge City Mall and pass it off as duty free with a markup of exactly 3 times. The Royal Pharmacy is generally trash, there are scammers in all countries, but in Phuket the business was built by Russians, how to scam people wisely. Booked 3 nights here back in February. PROS: Clean room. Fast wifi. Small balcony. Low rate. And a nice rooftop pool. CONS: Located in a remote part of south Patong. Not much to do nearby. About a 20 to 25 minute walk to the Beach, Bangla Road, and Jungceylon Mall.

Was not booked into this hotel originally but after 4 days did not want to leave. Well looked after by nice staff and spotlessly clean.

Clean hotel, spacious rooms, nearby to most tourist attractions. Only downside is they don't have breakfast included as they don't have a restaurant. Otherswise, for the pricing, hotel is value for money.
