Good combination price-quality. The hotel is situated near Karon beach – one of the best beaches of Phuket. Recommend for young people and tourists who prefer a quiet holiday combined with rest and excursions.

Location: 45 km from the airport of Phuket, 15 km from Patong beach, West coast Phuket in Karon Bay.
Consists of one 4-storey building.
The hotel has 89 rooms.

Beach: public sandy beach, 100 m from the hotel (1 coastline). Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses – for a fee. Between the hotel and the beach road runs.

I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel, specifically regarding the check-out experience.
We were only given one room card during our check-in, but when checking out, a staff member (the one in the attached photo) insisted that we had received two. Despite our repeated explanations that we only had one card, she refused to listen and stuck to her claim, with a rather uncooperative attitude. This unnecessary dispute dragged out the check-out process for 20 minutes, which was extremely frustrating.
On a positive note, there was a lovely short-haired Thai staff member who was very helpful and had a great attitude—she made the situation a bit more bearable.
I hope the hotel can address this issue to avoid similar problems for other guests.

Rooms were okay unless you get put in an A or a B room and then you can hear the neighbours blasting music at 8am after keeping you up all night from making worse sounds.
Service was okay, rooms were kept clean but they knock on your door and ask to come in with no explanation about some form of bug repellent, which would’ve been good to know prior.
And the front of house were lovely upon arrival and through out, other than refusing to get my shoes out of the room after check out, knowing for a fact they were in there. Just blatantly refusing so I’ve come home with one less pair of shoes
As for the location, i wouldn’t recommend it to anybody, Thailand was incredible but i will never return to this side of Phuket. Dirty, same scamming shops every 2 seconds and be careful where you eat as we were served raw chicken down the road from the hotel.
On the topic of food though, the Indian that is linked with the hotel was lovely! You can see the Buddha from the restaurant which was the only positive of the hotel

We upgraded to a room with direct pool access, which they offered upon check-in.
The hotel is spotless, with friendly and efficient staff.
You cannot get much closer to the beach or the main street for the shops and restaurants, but there was no noise to be heard.

Everything from the location, breakfast, staff, and aesthetic of the property was great!
We had a first floor room with a pool ladder on the balcony so it was easy access to the swim up bar. The age of folks was a bit in the older range so if you’re looking for a party hotel, this isn’t it. It was low key and quiet, despite being off a Main Street that can get very loud and bustling.
The breakfast buffet had a ton of variety. It was all delicious and the dining/food area was kept clean.
The location is perfect. It’s literally right across the street from the beach and has many of stores, food markets, 7-11s, vendor markets, massage places, etc all well within walking distance.
Our room was kept very clean and well stocked daily.
If I ever went back to Karon Beach, I’d absolutely stay here again.

Excellent rooms and amenities.
Rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Breakfast has an excellent selection. Pool is big and has a range of depths. Fitness center was good, if you want it. Great location for spending time on the beach. The social night with the owners is a really nice touch.
We almost had an issue since Booking.com had the right number of people in our confirmation, but not in what they sent the hotel. We arrived late in the evening, exhausted, and we were worried that it was going to cause a problem. But reception called their manager who said they'd sort it out with Booking.com the next day and we never heard any more, so that was a relief.

Great location, quiet, peaceful, good view from the 4th floor. Welcoming helpful staff, work well, professional. The hotel was a mom with our son. The beach is right across the street, close to all infrastructure. Also in the hotel there was a party, which we could not attend due to busy work, but mom and son were very pleased, had a great time. Good breakfasts, everything is enough. Large swimming pool. There is a library and billiards.

The hotel was very good and clean, and it is perfectly located right by the beach. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including spacious rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would especially like to praise Usman, who really made our stay memorable. He was not only kind and service-oriented but also spoke fluent English and helped us with everything we needed. A big thank you to Usman and the entire hotel staff for a fantastic experience!"

We stayed here during a peak season ( Thanksgiving week) so we did pay a premium for the rooms, so my review might be a bit skewed here.
Pros:
-Spacious room for being in the beach and cost
-Early check in was easy ( just make sure you email them back on your ETA)
-I requested the quiet room and they upgraded our room to the walk up pool room at no cost
-location is right near the beach and shops, including multiple 7-11 and currency exchanges so we walked everywhere
-free four bottles of water daily
-breakfast buffet included but OK ( mainly European and Chinese tailored foods- no Thai food)
-Beach bag and towels were provided in the room which saves you time going out to buy one
Cons:
-Rooms are a bit dated and would benefit from a remodel
-cleanliness was OK. I felt gross after seeing them folding fresh towels on the floor 😫
-like other reviews, bed was very firm. Wasn’t a huge issue for us but could be for those looking for a bit more comfort
-Although we appreciate the free room upgrade to the pool swim up for free ( because I requested a quiet room), we kept our curtains closed because there is no privacy. You would often see a lot of elderly Europeans sunbathing directly across your window and it’s sorta awkward
Overall, it isn’t anything fancy or extravagant but good for the price and location. Hotel is 3.5 at most and I would only return if they had a remodel and things were cleaner.

I 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get an unforgettable experience in Phuket. I had the best time of my life and I wish I can see it again someday. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and they were just too nice! The room was very clean and huge and the breakfast was wonderful. The location was the best thing about this hotel because it was close to everything and everywhere. you won't regret going to this hotel, if I ever go back to Phuket, I will definitely stay at Karon Sea Sands Resort again and again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!!

I had a quiet and peaceful stay during my holiday. The hotel is just near the beach, literally a 2-minute walk away. There are many restaurants, a pharmacy, a convenience store, a spa/salon, and clothing shops nearby. What needs to be improved are the bathroom towels. They need to be changed and brand new towels provided as their color is no longer white. The difference in color is quite noticeable. I highly suggest that they offer a non-dairy milk option for their coffee, as some customers, like myself, may be allergic to dairy. Luckily, there is a coffee shop right next to the hotel that offers soya milk for their coffee. I only went for breakfast once, and I think the food quality needs improvement. Overall, I will still recommend this hotel and will definitely come back next time.
