Spent 300AUd a night for family suite. Rooms are too old and poor maintained for 4 star they claim and the price they charged. Acs are cool. Hot water is good. Tv wifi good. Toilets/ bathroom is smelly. Mattress is very hard and uncomfor. The couch is rubbish and should have been throwned away.The worst is location. Located on the top of very long and steep hill. Nearly impossible for walking up with ease. So everytime you want to go out you need taxi to come up. All the benefit near night market is wasted because of this. Will never come back or recommend.

My husband and I travelled throughout Thailand for approx 6 months, and by far this hotel was the worst experience we had. Rude staff, they walked in on us after a night out when we had extended our stay and forced us to switch rooms, on a whim, while yelling and screaming at us. No elevators, and no one helped us carry luggage.

Do yourself a favor, for the cheap price honestly it’s better to sleep on Patong beach or get another hotel. We still are shocked to this day about the experience we had. This was back in January of 2023. Took me this long to contemplate writing a review but it never left my mind.

My recent stay at Baan Yuree Resort started with a warm welcome from the friendly receptionist, who assisted with my luggage and made check-in seamless. I even had the chance to meet the chef when I visited the restaurant to purchase water; he was exceptionally kind and welcoming. However, my initial positive impression was short-lived. Upon closer inspection, the property’s appearance revealed an unfortunate level of outdated decor and minimal upkeep.

When I arrived in my room, I was met with a disappointing experience. The room had a noticeable odor, visible mold, and stained walls and ceilings, which made it feel unclean and poorly maintained. Despite raising my concerns with the receptionist, who promptly arranged for me to view another room, the alternative offered no real improvement. Both rooms felt mediocre and did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness and comfort.

Ultimately, I returned the keys and found accommodations elsewhere. While the staff’s friendliness and helpfulness were appreciated, the quality and condition of the rooms fell well short. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

I’m not sure who determines the star ratings for this hotel, but it definitely didn’t meet my expectations for a 4-star property. I accidentally booked 3 nights instead of 4 and was advised to book the extra night online. Unfortunately, the additional room type was different, requiring me to pay an extra 400 baht per night, making the total for the additional nights 1200 baht. Despite this, I was charged approximately 1750 baht. When I inquired about this discrepancy with the receptionist, he initially claimed there was no price list, then later consulted what appeared to be a price list. He mentioned that online rates might be cheaper and that prices fluctuate daily, but my calculations showed otherwise. While this might seem like a minor issue, it was the principle of the matter, and the receptionist seemed untrustworthy.

The room itself had a musty smell, suggesting it hadn't been cleaned in some time. There was a leak, and the corridor light was out. Although the maintenance team fixed these issues promptly the next day, they attempted to enter the room without notice, which was concerning. Thankfully, the door was locked, and they eventually knocked to let us know they were there.

The room was cleaned the next day, which improved the smell, but the bathroom lacked a shower curtain, making it difficult to wash without flooding the bathroom. The furniture was dirty and worn, and there were cockroaches in the reception area.

Breakfast was a hassle; we were told almost every morning that we were not on the list for free breakfast and had to pay. One restaurant staff member was particularly rude, and when the receptionist resolved the issue, she argued with him in the middle of the restaurant, which was very unprofessional. The following day, the same issue occurred with our breakfast. The food was mediocre with limited options.

The hotel’s location on a hill made transportation difficult, requiring us to walk up ourselves once, which was unpleasant. Overall, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again if I visited Thailand. However, I want to acknowledge that aside from the issues with pricing and a few unprofessional staff members, the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Pathetic experience. Had a very bad service from the hotel staff. Right from the staff behaviour to the room service everything was super bad.
No hot water in the room.
Telephone service not working.
Towels were not changed even after requesting multiple times.

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Rooms smell like mould, there is mould in the showers, and dirty basin and mirror. They moved us to a different one after asking, and the power was faulty. The beds are rock hard also. Pool steps have slime on them which is also a safety hazard, and there is rubbish lying around everywhere. The pictures are VERY old. The swim up bar is not a bar anymore, they don't even have a bar, and you don't get your welcome drink as it states on the booking.
The service is dismissive and they just don't care. Wouldn't offer any real help, nor a partial or full refund. Nothing. Just deal with it attitude.
My friend and I had to take tbe loss, and book elsewhere.
Shows that people do not want to stay here as the 'resort' was empty also. I see why.
It's also located atop a very steep hill that no one wants to drive up without charging you stupid prices.
