Avani Plus Khao Lak Resort

The breakfast has too many options which I really like! You won’t get bored about the food.
Clean room and very good service of the staff!
The main pool is not directly under the sun in the morning- so perfect for us who doesn’t like too much sun exposure :-)

They surprised me with a free birthday cake as well :-)

We recently stayed at Avani+ Khao Lak for three nights in the Two Bedroom Family Pool Suite and we are thrilled to share our experiences. The customer service at this resort is superb. Definitely a 10/10! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

We were here for a group retreat and every aspect of our experience was amazing. The suite was spacious, clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The private pool added an extra touch of luxury and relaxation.

The resort itself is stunning, with well-maintained facilities and breathtaking surroundings. Love the greens and tall trees. The food at the on-site restaurants especially Beach House was delicious, offering a wide variety of options that catered to all tastes.

One of the highlights of our stay was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the people at the resort. The staff’s genuine hospitality made us feel at home and well-cared for. Whether it was arranging transportation and activities, offering local tips, or simply greeting us with a smile, their efforts did not go unnoticed and were deeply appreciated.

Overall, we are truly satisfied and impressed with the service and the overall resort. Thank you, Avani+ Khao Lak, for an unforgettable retreat experience. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service.

Went to this resort especially for my daughter, as there was a kid swimming pool with sliders. Everything was perfect, she enjoyed the pools and the kids club with all the activities offered (climbing, candles making...)

As adults,our stay was excellent as well, the pools were nicely designed in a green environment. The room was spacious, the pillows and the mattress were soft and comfy. Breakfast buffet was excellent!

We live in Phuket and will definitely come back for another week end escape!

This is a wonderful resort. It is like being on a cruise ship without the motion of the ocean. The facilities are fantastic. Gym, pool, beach.. The food is amazing. Every meal was better than expected. The service is amazing. Such friendly and helpful people.

After swimming in the ocean we accidentally brought some of the beach back to our room. We told them of our problem and room service went to work making our room spotless ++.

Massages are exquisite.

Normally we'd look for activities around the resort but we don't want leave or go anywhere else.

In the pool suit, our party was 5 people (2 adults, 3 children)
Our check-in experience was pleasant and very quick, we were offered a cold sweet ice tea drink the minute we arrived. Our room was above our expectations in every form. The room was big, clean, well designed and it seems they thought about every aspect of the accommodations.
The private pool was spacious and clean, with access to the outside yard.
There are 5 pools in the hotel. One kids area with water slides and splashing fountains.
All the facilities are well maintained from the gym, to the playroom.
The gardens are very beautiful and there are tall trees everywhere that give out a forest vibe.

The only down side was the indoor dining, the food was OK for the most part.
Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options, but unfortunately there are not many good dining options other than the hotel.

Everything about this resort is absolutely first class and as far as I can see, everything was catered for. The location within the mature gardens and woodlands right on the most perfect, long beaches with stunning sunset on earth.
The service from the staff is fantastic and they are all lovely people.

We really enjoyed our time here. Staff was very helpful,the resort itself was beautiful, and our room was wonderful. Only issue is that there isn't much to do at or by the resort after 8 PM. The resort definitely caters more towards families and kids than couples.

We loved our stay at Avani+ at Khao Lak - we only wish our stay could have been longer!

We initially booked a superior room but before arrival decided to upgrade to a corner deluxe. At check-in we were given a pool-access deluxe which was amazing! We absolutely loved our room - being able to swim in the pool right outside our door was wonderful :)

The facilities are great - the pools (my son had a daily routine of going to the beach and then going to each and every pool) were lovely and not too busy which was surprising, especially as we were there over the Christmas period. We also absolutely loved the arcade, basketball court and the climbing wall.

We enjoyed the food at the restaurants (we ate at every one and had a drink at every bar) and breakfast was fantastic - such a choice of food!! The trick is to either eat inside (everyone crowds outside) or to not go during peak hours.

And lastly, the service was really good. We felt well taken care of by all the staff :)

The hotel is amazing (But not in the weekends, if there is an Indian wedding prepare yourself to 400 people with a lot of noise until late, and ask for a quite room).

Other than that, the breakfast is amazing, stuff gave good service. The pools and kids playground were awesome and we spent there a lot of time.

There is a small market outside the hotel.
