We have only a good experience in Villa Sonata. Hotel is located on the hill, so you can have great view to the city. Even that it's a city center it's quiet and a lot of plans and trees around the hotel. It's really beautiful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is very nice and polite. We have booked a standard room and they give us much more bigger room with a lot of space, it was really nice, thank you!

This was my first time travelling without my parents as an adult and everything was perfect the owners and employees are all lovely
I read reviews of this place before booking and none of the reviews let me down
Any reviews less than three stars I think they had the wrong expectations
I would love to stay here again

Away from the noisy city center, beautiful location and views. Our room was perfect, clean I just wish the pool was heated. 5 minute walk to the beach and the caves.

Very, very happy here. Tucked away up on a hill, very quiet. Apartment is clean, spacious and has everything we need. Large balcony. We are self catering so don't see much of the staff, but those we have met are polite and friendly.
The beach is at the end of the road and shops around the corner.
We can see the snow on the mountains, and watch the bats in the evening from the balcony.

Me and my partner had the best time!! We arrived late at night so we went straight to sleep but we woke up after a fantastic night's sleep and we saw the gorgeous views of Alanya! The hotel is up a steep slope but the view was deffo worth waking upto every morning! We slept in most mornings so we missed breakfast but we had dinner and tea there some nights and it was beautiful the pizza was banging! The staff didn't speak much English but still didn't stop them doing as much as they could for us! There was one guy who used to always take our order and set the tables amd stuff, that guy needs a pay rise! Ide highly recommend this place! Can't wait to go back!

Very nice big room,everything in order, little kitchen plus utilities, two balconies. Arrived in the rain, it was 600TL, a bit more then online, happy to pay it. The walls in the bedroom are very thin and I could hear the next door tv and kept me up till 1. Didn't complain, checked out before 10, check out is till 12. The whole room was clean when I left it. Visited the town the whole day, missed my bus because of heavy rains, instead of taking a later bus I asked how much it was for an extra night when I went to collect my bag and explained why I was considering an extra night and since I saw the price dropped to 300 online. He kind of ignored it when I mentioned it, then said it was for me the same price, 600TL.i have no idea why this behavior is necessary. I said ok, took my bag and went to another hotel down the road. Couple of hours later the 300tl room was still available.

The hotel is ok for people who can walk up steep windy steps. That's upto some rooms, and there's no lift.
And the worse is the steep climb from street level upto the hotel, definitely not if you struggle with mobility.
Breakfast is very basic. Although the single lady that put it all out is very polite and friendly.
As are the cleaning staff rooms always cleaned.
Not the reception staff we were pretty much ignored our whole as , as we'd complained about rooms on top floor.
Also the suite some of our party had, is definitely not.
The 2nd bedroom had a few large cushions as mattresses.
We only ate at the hotel the first evening, again food was average.

THE HOTEL ON TOP OF THE STEEP HILLS
NO TAXI WILL DROP YOU RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR GATE!! Avoid this hotel if you’re not a fan of climbing or if you bring heavy luggages like me. sucks I just lost 600TRY and had to change to another hotel.

Very nice Hotel we are staying in a huge apartment big rooms fitted kitchen big double bed good Customer service cheap food and drinks from hotel good weather what more do you want I will be coming back here next year for a month also lots of trips you can go on boat rides shopping trips riding quade bikes and lots more

Staff are rude, breakfast vastly overpriced, consists of cornflakes and bread and cheese. Cleaners never changed the bed sheets, for the whole 10 days we were here. Air conditioning leaked. Towels were stained, shower went hot and cold randomly and had little bugs crawling around in the bathroom. Only good thing was the location being close to the beach. Would never stay here again.
