Stayed here for 4 nights with wife. Had a great experience:
1. Excellent service from all staff. Reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great knowledge of the area and always ready to help. Made us feel very welcome.
2. Hotel is clean and staff do a great job with cleanliness.
3. Decent breakfast. Average quality and small range but does the job.
4. Location - very good. Close to shops, important sights and Metro. Also, not just a tourist hotpot - lots of local shops and businesses for the local people.
5. 5th floor terrace gives really good views of Istanbul.
I would go back again without question. However, room we stayed in (103) was small but did have a balcony.
Overall, I would rate this as a high end 3 star hotel not a 4. Recommended for those on a mid range budget.

This is one of quite a few small, privately run hotels. It is characterised by its great location in the historic part of Istanbul with a direct view of the Hagia Sophia and the extremely friendly and helpful staff.
It offers a typical Turkish breakfast that you quickly learn to love. The most important historical sites (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Sunken Cistern, Hippodrome, . . .) are within walking distance, and no transport is needed to reach the Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar. If you are not afraid of long walks, you can also walk across the Golden Horn to the Galata Tower and on to Taksim Square - it's worth it!
It should also be mentioned that there are several restaurants in the vicinity of this hotel where you can savour wonderful Turkish dishes.

This place is perfect, it’s located in the heart of Istanbul, sultan Ahmed near Aya Sofia Mosque. The staff is very kind and I would like to thank Eisa especially for his kind welcome. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, you can have your breakfast there,

Service was at the level you would see at a top end hotel. They went above and beyond every chance they got. I'd like to think they just liked us, but my money is they treat everyone exceptionally well.
Location is amazing. On a quiet street but walking distance to the whole district.
Our room had a balcony. Really not necessary as the rooftop patio is great (and the hotel is so small it is usally all yours). I guess the balcony would be useful for smokers.

Very nice staff, great central location and clean rooms. Staff provided recommendations several times and were quick to help and provide anything we needed. The hotel entrance isn’t on a busy street yet everything we needed was close - shopping, great food and even laundry. Sultanahmet square, Ayasofya and blue mosque are within a walking distance. Very good value for the money. We will be back again when visiting Istanbul.

We stayed here for several nights and had a very pleasant experience. The staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The facilities are comfortable and clean.
In term of location, the hotel is within walking distance to the main spots of the old town. And of course, the incredible views of the river and Hagia Sophia are hard to beat.

A wonderful hotel with a service that leaves nothing to be desired. The location is unbeatable, directly above the Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. From there you can also walk to the Grand Bazaar in less than 10 minutes.
This was our second time at the hotel and, as a great lover of Istanbul, I will not choose any other hotel again. I would give it more stars in every category than are possible here on Google. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable, the most convenient location! The hotel has everything you need and more. Very good terrace to enjoy the city view! I will come again!

lost half my cash money in the safe!!!
Story:
This is the most shocking thing I have ever experienced in my trips ever undoubtedly! I stayed in Agora Life with my parents for a week. Once we arrived, I put some money in the safe. We had a great time in Istanbul for a week and at the end of the week once we were getting ready to check out, I noticed half the money in the safe was gone! It was so shocking I couldn't believe it! The hotel receptionist and I went to the police station to file a complaint and they were asking for a proof of money and questioning if I am lying! that's sounds ridiculous! later they said I can still file a complaint but if they don't find anything the hotel have the right to sue me! I have never been in these types of situations ever in my life so I decided not to get involved with the paper work and gave up!
I felt it's moral thing to me to share the story for people looking for a safe place to stay in Istanbul.
