I cannot speak more highly of this hotel, every day felt like I was coming home. The hotel is a family business and their care for it is evident. The hotel is scrupulously clean and comfortable, while the breakfasts are consistent in their quality and variety. It's located in the tourist area of Fatih, and the surrounding shops are equally pleasant and welcoming. We came here by accident- we initially booked another hotel around the corner, but that hotel was dingy and dirty, and did not look at all like the pictures. We felt lucky to be so close to a great alternative. I would definitely come back.

I had a fantastic stay at Derstaadet Hotel during my trip to Istanbul. The service was truly exceptional—the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and assist with everything I needed. The breakfast was a highlight: delicious, varied, and the perfect way to start the day.
The location is incredibly convenient, with many of Istanbul’s iconic attractions within walking distance, making it an excellent base for exploring the city.
While the rooms aren’t in the best condition, it’s completely understandable given the building’s historical charm. The character and authenticity of the hotel more than make up for it.
If you value excellent service, a great breakfast, and a central location, I highly recommend staying here!

A hotel that is close to just about everything in Sultanahmet. Blue Mosque or Aya Sophia are a short walk away, and so are restaurants, tours, currency exchange, hamams, and so on. The hotel is very clean, the staff are very attentive, and the views from the terrace are wonderful. The beds are comfortable. I have back issues and had no problems. If I had to find one thing to complain about is that rooms were a little warm, even with the heat turned off, so found myself opening a window every now and then. Great place to stay in the middle of the old city.

Absolutely fantastic! This is a wonderful hotel. The building is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and very clean (and quiet too!), and the breakfast is outstanding. The location is hard to beat - a short walk to all of the major sites. All of the staff are friendly and very helpful - İlhan and Murat in particular were great. Highly recommended!

This is not the place for you if you like modern and minimalist. But if you like heritage, culture, outstanding service and the sense of being welcomed somewhere truly special, we can't recommend this hotel enough. The room was enormous and very clean, the location was excellent, the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was lovely and the rooftop was a great space to relax after a day's sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed at Dersaadet for five nights, and the staff were incredibly lovely, friendly, and helpful, providing us with guidance whenever we needed it. We enjoyed breakfast with a beautiful view every morning, making our stay at this place truly amazing. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff, especially Nima😊

We chose Dersaadet Hotel for the opportunity to get an authentic luxury Ottoman experience, at a price lower than the standard rooms at the mainstream chain hotels. Its location is perfectly accessible to everything in the old city / Fatih, but without being right in the middle of the town square either. We were treated to wonderful hospitality from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. The breakfast buffets and Turkish coffee were the perfect way to start each morning, with a beautiful views of both the water and the Blue Mosque. The service was exemplary. We would absolutely stay here again.

Highly recommended! The attention from the staff surpasses that of the Ritz Carlton. Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. The view from the terrace is very nice and the entire hotel has so much character. It is walking distance to all the major attractions and is in a safe area.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful hotel which is located in the centre of Istanbul. Just a stone throw away from landmark monuments of the city, we were looked after amazingly well by the ever helpful and friendly staff. We couldn't reccommend this hotel enough and will be visiting Istanbul again to stay in this picturesque hotel with amazing breakfast!
