Nice and cozy appartments. Good place for long stay in the heart of Balat. However it’s hard to find car parking place on the street - the streets are very narrow

Elele Boutique Apartments is by far one of the coolest places I have ever rented. These apartments are conveniently located within a brisk 5 minute walk of the Balat bus stop or the tram. I highly suggest anyone wanting to stay in Istanbul to consider staying here. Staff is also amazing.

Stayed here for two weeks. Terrible experience. Everything is cheaply made, even the furniture. The units are about 50% smaller than what the photos show. Not sure why they have 4 to 5 star reviews. Probably paid reviewers. We do not recommend at all.

We enjoyed our stay. Rooms are not too spacious, but ok. Washing machine, stove, fridge are provided. The table was quite comfortable to work at. The bedroom doesn't have windows (only the window that connects it with kitchen). Not so far from the Blue mosque (~15-20min by bus). Many Cafés nearby and Balat's tourist places just 5 minutes away from Elele.

I can’t fault elele apartments at all. Apartments are spotless, spacious, nicely decorated, it has everything you short/long-term stay. It’s also located in a very convenient neighbourhood in Istanbul, everything you need, a lot of cafes and shops are within walking distance.
But the highlight of elele is definitely the hosts. Aytac and Tugba are amazing, they’re very helpful and kind. When I arrived in Istanbul, I realised that all my cash and credit card had somehow gotten stolen on the flight. Aytac very kindly got me water on that day and lend me cash until I got things sorted out. I cannot appreciate them enough, if it hadn’t been because of them, I would’ve been dehydrated and starving that day.
I’ve stayed in a couple of different places in Istanbul now, and elele is by far still my favourite. Thank you, Aytac and Tugba!

In March 2021, I stayed the second time in one of the Elele Boutique Apartments, since at the first time I already enjoyed the stay to it's fullest. The apartment has anything you need, it's fully modern renovated and includes a cozy kitchen. It makes you feel like home with many sweet details of decorations, making it very unique. Just as the apartment also the area, where it's located makes the stay unique. Living in Balat let's you get to experience local life of Istanbul in a very live-full neighborhood with many colourful streets, where at the same time you are very close to all important sightseeing spots. You reach Eminönü and Karaköy within 15 min by Bus and also the ferry station of Balat, let's you explore in a nice way parts of Istanbuls asian side like Üsküdar. Further, the hosts Tuğba and Aytaç are very helpful and kind in any perspective with recommendations for my time in Istanbul or also fixing an internet issue within a day and being reachable at all time. To sum it up, the apartment and the kind hosts gave me the chance to enjoy Istanbul in a very special and unique way. Looking forward for my next visit!

Highly recommend Elele apartments. Tugba and Aytec are wonderful, helpful hosts and the apartment was beautifully done with everything you need for a short or long stay. The Balat neighborhood is delightful with lots of cafes, coffee shops and everything you need just steps from your front door. The tourist destinations are still close by and easily accessible by walking or a short bus ride but I really enjoyed coming "home" to the peace and quiet of my apartment and Balat at the end of the day.
