Avoid This Hotel at All Costs!

I recently stayed at what was supposed to be a charming little hotel, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. Here’s a rundown of my miserable experience:

1. Filthy Rooms and Bathrooms: The room was disgusting from the moment I walked in. The bathroom was even worse, with an unbearable stench that lingered throughout my stay. It’s clear that cleanliness is not a priority here—there were stains everywhere, and the so-called “cleaning” consisted of a half-hearted spray of something vaguely chemical.

2. Unbearable Noise: If you enjoy the constant roar of trucks, bikes, and people shouting 24/7, then you’ll love this place. The noise was relentless and made it impossible to get any rest. It’s situated in such a horrible area that it seems the hotel doesn’t even bother with soundproofing.

3. Awful Management: The attitude of the managers was atrocious. The hotel is run by two people only. When we approached them about the breakfast buffet being empty, they responded aggressively and said we are checking in/out people and we do not have time to refill it. So actually we had to wait until they come and refill items. We were forced to wait for a long time for them to finally come and see there is nothing to eat for the breakfast, and then it took for them a long time to refill the breakfast items. Absolutely unacceptable! They actually raised their voices at us and seemed genuinely annoyed that we wanted something to eat and we want a clean room.

4. Overpriced and Tiny Rooms: The rooms were not only small, dirty and noisy but also ridiculously overpriced for what you get. The furniture was old, worn-out, and dirty, making the room feel even more cramped and uncomfortable.

5. Limited Breakfast Options: The breakfast selection was pitiful. With only a few options and poor-quality food, it was a major letdown. The two people running the hotel were too busy with other stuff to bother with restocking the breakfast items properly.

6. Unsafe Location: The area is sketchy at best. It felt unsafe to walk around, and the inconvenient transportation options made getting around a real hassle.

7. No View: Don’t expect any scenic views. The rooms overlook nothing but a dingy alley or a brick wall, making the stay even more depressing.

In summary, this hotel was a complete nightmare. Between the dirty conditions, smelly rooms, horrific noise, terrible management, and overpriced, tiny rooms, I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else!

Don't stay here! It is NOT a 4 star hotel (more like a 2). It is close to tourist things but it is located in an industrial sketchy area (my mother and I did not feel completely safe). The taxi driver that took us to the airport from the hotel told us that the hotel is known to scam foreigners saying that it is a 4 star hotel and that is it poorly locsted. He even said that there are much better, nicer, places to stay that are the same price or cheaper. I stayed here a few days with my elderly handicap mother and wanted to treat her but honestly from the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were unimpressed. The rooms had water damage all over, the wallpaper and walls were damaged and the doors did not close properly. We told this to the hotel and they said "yes, yes we will handle it." Of course, nothing changed. They showed us another room that was just as bad and located on another part of the building that wasn't very safe for a handicap person to get to. The only "ok" thing about the hotel was the breakfast buffet but even then the cereal was definitely old...the front garden is ok and their gym isn't badly equipped, but honestly...the state of the rooms and the location, plus the loud noises at night, does not justify the price. Definitely not worth staying here! Look somewhere else!!
