the location of thia hotel is near to the highlight spot in istanbul. and because it's location no wonder the price is quite high (all the hotel in the sultanahmed is expensive)

we book room for 3 people and in the ground floor.

the room not so big so we have to organize our laguagge for the movement in the room.

the facility is standard like towels, toiletris, tv etc.

just acros the hotel you can find supermarket where you can buy everything you need.

My child and I stayed at this hotel for a week in August 2024. The staff was very helpful, provided tips, and were very friendly. Everything was newly renovated and very clean. We were given a complimentary upgrade and stayed on the third floor in a standard room with window at the back. The hotel is very well located, with the Tram station Cemberlitas just 15-20 meters away, and many restaurants, shops, and a supermarket right outside the door and we still didnt hear any loud noise. The value for money is excellent. We are absolutely satisfied and will definitely return.

Excellent hotel. Clean and really good locations. Very walkable to Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque Tokopi palace, Hagia Sophia. Front desk people are so friendly, especially Alim I love how they created a WhatsApp chat with me so I can ask questions from them. Would highly recommend. Pictures are as you see it

Staff at the reception are friendly and helpful. This morning, the reception even helped us to secure an airport (IST) transfer when we did not book in advance.

Walking distance to the historical sites (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, basilica cistern, Topkapi palace, grand bazaar, spice bazaar etc). We did not even use the tram during our 6-nights stay.

Very very friendly and extremely helpful receptionist. All of them are super nice. Very grateful for their help in getting us a ride to the airport. The hotel is at a good location. The room is clean and I love how all the beddings and towel smells so nice. Thank you to all the staff. Appreciate it a lot :)

A pleasant stay and ideal location.
Hotel room is neat and clean. Nice area, lots of shops & restaurants and just one tram stop away from Hagia Sophia/Sultanahmet.
When leaving the concierge helped us to call a taxi.

Conveniently located walking distance from the Camberlitas tram stop & 2 supermarkets nearby.
Beautiful lobby area that you can buy coffee from.
Rooms maybe slightly on the small side but tastefully furnished with AC, WiFi, fridge that works well. Bathroom/shower are well lit, clean with modern sanware fittings.
Staff were helpful, accommodating & extremely patient with us.

Recommended. Pro and cons staying at Endican Sultanahmet Hotel

Pro:

1. Newly refurbished rooms.
2. Nice clean modern toilet.
3. Has an elevator.
4. Very near the tram station. Approx 40 meters only.
5. Near to a supermarket. 20 meters.
6. Walking distance to main tourist hotspots.
7. Friendly, helpful and motivated staffs.
8. Daily housekeeping.
9. Has a security safe in the room.
10. Less noisy/busy neighborhood.
11. Several local restaurants nearby.
12. Hotel provides house slippers.
13. Has complimentary coffee and tea in the room.
14. Near to money changer with better rates.
15. Comfortable bed and pillows.
16. Can arrange for airport transfer.
17. Sells sim cards for tourist.

Cons:

1. Located in a touristic area. Price of food and souvenirs 30-40% more expensive.
2. Small elevator. Can fit max 4 pax.
3. No concierge service.
4. Unfriendly to those with special needs.
5. Rooms a bit small. Especially the standard rooms.
6. No breakfast provided.
7. Albiet near to tourist hotspots (approx 900 meters), walking can be tiring. Especially for elders and small children. Uphill walk (approx 10% slope) back to the hotel.
8. No toothpaste provided in the rooms.
9. Blanket a bit thin.
10. No special view. Just view of surrounding buildings.

Add notes:

1. Staff named Seraffetin was helpful. He gave us good advice on where to change the money and places to visit. He even lent us the scale to weigh our luggage.

2. Since we checked out early, he voluntarily called the manager to ask whether refund was possible. Thank you Serafettin.

3. The two housekeeping ladies were helpful too and always attentive to our needs.

4. Was told that the hotel was newly refurbished about 6 months ago. But, limited only 23 rooms. They have 2 economy rooms in the basement (without view).

5. Most of the staffs are friendly, speak basic English and motivated.
