Hotel Estambul

Great location and attractive price but very dirty toilet and shower.

Dirty rooms with ants in bathroom and on beds, hairs on bedsheets. Rude owner told us that room is clean but obviously it wasn't. He refused to clean our room and then cancelled our reservation leaving us on the Istanbul streets. After all of that he told booking.com "we were not followed their policies".
Friendly advice: avoid this place, save your money and time.

"Hi! We are currently in Istanbul and we had troubles with our hosts.

We came at hotel early in the morning, before check-in, and the guy from hotel allowed us to make check-in to room.

The room that was horrible dirty! The sheets and towels were dirty, had many stains on them, ants all over the furniture and bathroom. I've found hairs around pillowcase and sheets were smelly. There was water in bath cabine and the whole room was humid (obviously someone was there just before we arrived.

I understood that we came early and they didn't have enough time to clean and prepare room for us, so we kindly asked receptionist to change the sheets. He said the cleaning lady will come and everything will be cleaned by 14:30. We went to look around Istanbul for 6 hours and came back after 14:30. The room was in the same condition we left it. I asked host (i suppose it was owner) if they cleaned our room and he said that sheets are clean (even though they clearly weren't) and that everything was cleaned since yesterday. I have to add he was rude/nervous/insolent in talking with us.

When I said to him that there is no way everything was clean since yesterday because at the arrival the shower was wet and the whole room was steamy and hot he said that he will cancel our reservation. He did exactly that.

I ask you what to do now? What was I supposed to do? I'm really disappointed, confused and lost in Istanbul without accomodation and this whole situation.

DO NOT GO HERE! Sheets were dirty, walls were damaged (wires coming out of wall), floor was falling a part, there were bugs all over the room and bathroom. We kindly asked staff to give us clean sheets and they said ok. But when we came back, everything was the same and we requested new sheets again. But the owner told us that those sheets are new and washed (but they weren’t, they had multiple brown stains). After that, owner started yelling at us and kicked us out of hotel and we were left in the middle of Istanbul without accomodation! Awful experience, I would reccomend you to AVOID THIS HOTEL.

The worst experience of my life. The rooms were dirty. After we asked the owner for a new room, he became aggressive. He cancelled our reservation and left us in the middle of street.
Avoid this hotel.
